We're *still* hiring! Looking for MULTIPLE "aircraft prototype technicians" for a 6-8 month contract assignment. There IS potential for direct hire coming out of this based on company fit and long-term business projections. Real potential to convert to direct hire based on fit and where the business goes. What's an aircraft prototype technician? You're building composite aircraft — bigger than a Part 107 drone, smaller than a 737 in a rapid, low-rate/high-mix environment. This work means minimal documentation to go off of - being able to quickly identify issues and solve problems in real-time; working directly with engineers (on the floor with you); comfortable doing something new every day (instead of building Widget 1A-022-09426 for the 620th time). Last week was bittersweet as our last summer intern finished his program with us. Armaan Bhojwani, Kaleb Patel, and Dylan Hyde did an awesome job helping out on anything and everything ranging from design to testing to assembly, helping us move into our new office, and even baking donuts (with a kit they won at a trivia night...these guys can't be beat!) It was super fun seeing their internship recap presentations and realizing the breadth and depth of what they learned and worked on and how much fun they had in Portland this summer. We’re extremely proud of these outstanding young engineers and we miss them already, but we hope this was “see you later” and not goodbye.
