Every career journey is different, which is why we believe job placement should never be one-size-fits-all. At Galt, we take the time to understand each candidate's skills, strengths, and goals so we can connect you with opportunities where you can succeed. Our team is here to provide guidance, support, and advocacy throughout the employment journey, not just until a placement is made, but as careers continue to grow. We're grateful to Thomas for sharing his experience with our Oklahoma City team. His story reflects what we strive for every day: helping people find opportunities where they can thrive. 💚 Ready to take the next step in your career? When people who've been historically overlooked are brought into the workforce with intention, the commitment and continuity they bring can strengthen teams in lasting ways. That's what we see happen at Galt. People with disabilities thrive when given a real chance. The loyalty that follows is something else entirely. Lisa Doyle explores this further in conversation with Humans of Staffing.

State agencies are building stronger teams by widening their talent lens. People who have navigated barriers to get to the table tend to show up differently: steady under pressure, resourceful, invested in work that matters. That's a strong fit for public service. 💡 Galt State Services connects state agencies with qualified professionals with disabilities through a sourcing and support model built for long-term success. 🤝 Connect with us here 👉 https://vist.ly/5bbtc

According to the Job Accommodation Network, 61% of workplace accommodations cost nothing, and the median one-time cost for those that do is just $300. What employers consistently report in return is stronger retention, better morale, improved attendance, and lower training costs. The value is real, so is the simplicity. When people feel genuinely set up to succeed, engagement and stability follow naturally. Ready to explore what this could look like for your team? Let's connect: https://vist.ly/5a2y6

It's hard to think about October when it's 95 degrees outside! But it will be here before we know it. At Galt, we're already talking about National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) that is set for October, 2026 and planning how we will recognize it. This year's theme, "Celebrating Value and Talent," is a fitting reminder that every person has something to contribute and every employer has the opportunity to see potential in new ways. Our NDEAM committee is already hard at work, including Suzanne M. Galt Career Placement Specialist, who is featured in this photo. We'll be celebrating our core employees, the individuals we serve, the employers who are expanding their workforce, and the community partners who work every day to help people prepare for employment. From interview preparation and job readiness to coaching and encouragement, they play an important role in helping people take that next step. We're grateful to bring the best talent to you because of their work with Galt. Kudos to the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy for continuing to shine a spotlight on the value and contributions of workers with disabilities through NDEAM. You don't have to be a disability organization to recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month! Every employer has a role to play in building a workforce where more people have the opportunity to contribute their skills and experience. If you're starting to plan for NDEAM, here's one thought. Don't wait to think about what you want to accomplish in October - and beyond! Use the next few weeks to look at your hiring process. Ask employees where they're running into barriers. Talk with your managers. Think about one thing you can do that can still be part of your workplace after October is over. National Disability Employment Awareness Month isn't just a chance to raise awareness. It can be a chance to make one change that lasts. We'll be sharing what we're working on over the next few months, and we'd love to hear what your organization is planning, too.

The Fourth of July is a good moment to think about what we're celebrating: freedom, opportunity, the idea that everyone deserves a chance to build something better. As you head into this long weekend to celebrate with family and friends, there's something worth holding onto: progress happens when more people get to participate, contribute, and be valued for what they bring. Wishing you a safe and joyful Independence Day. 💚

Nearly half of recruiters are now evaluating candidates by what they can do, not just what their resume says. That's from LinkedIn's 2026 Skills on the Rise report, and it's changing who gets a seat at the table. Professionals with disabilities bring real capability, adaptability, focus, problem-solving. When the hiring process reflects that, teams get stronger. That's what inclusive hiring actually looks like in practice. Ready to explore what that could mean for your team?
