This year’s International Drone Show has now come to an end. A sincere thank you to Lars Illum Jørgensen , UAS Denmark Test Center , and Odense Robotics for once again creating the framework for such a valuable event. For Godwit Systems, it has been two busy and highly rewarding days filled with engaging discussions, valuable insights, and constructive feedback from the end users who will ultimately be operating our systems. One thing became very clear: there is a real need for what we are building. We would also like to thank Kim Jesper Jørgensen and Forsvarets Industrikontor for their presence and informal feedback throughout the event. We look forward to continuing our collaboration. We are now following up on the many new connections and opportunities that emerged during the show as we continue developing our solutions. We look forward to presenting an exciting new platform at the DALO Industry Days event.

Today we had the privilege of joining a focused discussion at the Finnish Embassy in Copenhagen on “Innovation as a Nordic Strategic Capability.” Representing Godwit Systems alongside peers from across the Danish defence and dual-use ecosystem, we discussed how Finland and Denmark can accelerate a joint Nordic innovation base. One message stood out clearly: test, test, test. If we want real capability - not just procurement - we need faster access to end-users, continuous feedback loops, and realistic operational testing environments in the earliest development and procurement cycles. As a defence startup building reusable medium-range drones, we depend on close collaboration with operators to iterate quickly and validate performance under real conditions. Procurement should follow proven capability - not precede it - and strong alignment between industry, armed forces, and governments is essential to make this happen. Appreciation to the Jukka Siukosaari, Embassy of Finland in Denmark and Tobias Petrini for convening a highly relevant and action-oriented group. Looking forward to contributing on a deeper level in the future. #DefenceInnovation #NordicCooperation #TestAndIterate #DualUse #Drones #Security

We’re proud to share that Godwit Systems has been selected for the Defence Tech Denmark accelerator and scale-up programme - chosen among more than 150 companies. We attended the official kickoff this week and it was a privilege to meet the other companies in the first cohort. The level of ambition, technical depth, and openness in the room made it clear that Denmark is serious about building a stronger and more resilient defence technology ecosystem. We develop configurable heavy-lift VTOL drone platforms designed for long-range, deep-strike missions in GNSS denied areas, addressing emerging operational needs in contested environments. The real one is much bigger than the scaled down model in the image. A big thank you to EIFO, Industriens Fond, and Innovationsfonden for launching this initiative, and to DTU Science Park and Teknologisk Institut for operating the programme. We look forward to learning from the mentors, collaborating with the cohort, and contributing to the next generation of Danish defence capabilities. #DefenceTech #DefenceTechDenmark #Aerospace #VTOL #Drones #DualUse #GodwitSystems

🎉 Godwit systems wishes everyone a happy new year. We’re ready for 2026 with more ambitious milestones. 2025 has been an incredible year for Godwit Systems-our journey from concept based on feedback from various brigades to flight-validated technology has officially begun. This year, we: - Validated our software and flight systems with a 40% scale prototype - Laid the foundation for our full-scale VTOL drone and have begun development of first batch, designed to lift +40 kg and fly +400 km - Built a pipeline of interested stakeholders, brigades and ministries ready to test our solution in 2026 - Partnered with many Ukrainian and Danish companies As we step into 2026, our focus is on pushing boundaries in long-range, heavy-lift autonomous flight. The future of efficient aerial logistics and transformative drone solutions is taking shape - and we’re excited to share it with you. Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to full-scale flight in Q1! (glimpse of our drone below) #VTOL #DroneTech #AerospaceInnovation #StartupJourney #GodwitSystems

It was a great pleasure to welcome Alexander and Mikael from SKYLEN . We had an inspiring conversation about our MQ-1 platform and the opportunities it brings. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and exploring future collaboration with the Skylen team🚀
✨ First visit to DTU Skylab – and an exciting drone startup on our radar! 🚀 A week ago, SKYLEN had the pleasure of visiting DTU Skylab for the very first time – and what an inspiring experience it was! 💡 We were invited by the young and highly motivated team behind Godwit Systems, a promising drone startup founded by students from DTU. It was fascinating to get a tour and learn more about their technology, vision, and the incredible drive they bring to their work. From staying late at the lab (and even sleeping in their cars!) to driving to Ukraine to showcase their project, joining hackathons, and investing their own savings out of pure belief in their product – you’ve earned our deepest respect. 👏 We also got a deeper appreciation of how well Denmark supports its startups 🇩🇰 – from world-class facilities like Skylab to a thriving innovation ecosystem. A huge thank you to Godwit Systems for welcoming us and sharing your journey. We can’t wait to follow your next steps! 🙌 #SKYLEN #Innovation #Startups #Investment #Drone #DTU #Skylab #Entrepreneurship #TechTalent #Denmark

Two weeks ago, we arrived in Kyiv by night train as part of the Danish delegation attending the DFNC3 Conference— an important platform for dialogue and collaboration between the Danish and Ukrainian defense industries. During the visit, we engaged with our Ukrainian partners, were introduced to new potential collaborators, and had interesting discussions with Danish authorities on how startups like Godwit can contribute to the future of Denmark’s defense capabilities. A huge thank you to Michelle C. G. Moeller and Camilla Frost for making this trip possible, and to DI - Dansk Industri for bringing together such a strong Danish delegation💪🇩🇰🇺🇦 #Defense #Innovation #Denmark #Ukraine #Collaboration #Startups #DFNC3 #DanskIndustri

🇩🇰🤝🇺🇦 Bridging Danish innovation with Ukrainian defence expertise. Three weeks ago, we showcased our product demo at the BRAVE1 Defense Tech Valley in Lviv, Ukraine - gaining invaluable feedback directly from those on the frontlines. The conversations were centered around collaboration, innovation, and rapid battlefield adaptation - all happening at a pace not seen before. This trip was an incredible opportunity to exchange knowledge, build partnerships, and strengthen cooperation between us and Ukrainian companies to shape the future of defence technology. Thanks to Benjamin Wolba and European Defense Tech for facilitating the booth and making it possible. #DefenseTech #Innovation #Ukraine #Denmark #BRAVE1 #Lviv #Kyiv
