B2G Intelligence for Public Sector Sales.

About us

GovSpend provides government procurement data and analytics to organizations buying and selling in the public sector. With transparency and accountability at the center of what we do, we strive to place data-driven insights into the hands of our federal, state, local, and education customers so they can win more government contracts. Whether you’re a federal contractor strategizing for more awards, a SLED agency in search of a new vendor, or a consultant looking for new government-focused clients, GovSpend has the public sector intelligence you need to understand your market and pinpoint new opportunities. What sets us apart? Unlike any other procurement data providers, GovSpend delivers intelligence on what federal, state, and local agencies are purchasing, who they are buying from, and the precise amounts they are paying. We help you identify the specific public entities that align with your company’s growth strategy, allowing you to shrewdly position yourself in the market. At the heart of GovSpend’s uniqueness is our ability to showcase not only the 20% of opportunities that go out for bid but also the critical 80% that often remains hidden—such as p-card purchases, discretionary spend, co-ops/contracts, and more. We empower companies to adopt a proactive strategy with historical spending patterns and public meeting transcripts, enabling them to get ahead of bids and RFPs. Join GovSpend to upgrade the way you approach government contracting—where transparency, data-driven insights, and proactive strategies converge for growth and success.

  • RFP activity comes in waves — so what do the smartest teams do during the slow periods? They put their detective hat on. 🔍 In last week's webinar with our partners at Iris, GovSpend's CEO Nate Haskins outlined his recommended strategy: Use quieter periods to back-test incumbency, study expired bids, understand how buyers have historically purchased, and get pre-RFP signals so you're already positioned when the opportunity hits. Miss the live session? Click the link in the comments to watch the replay.

A few days in NYC with Nate Haskins, Trip Colden, Adam Fehd, Chris Finn, Brian Dunnam, and JB Milnor for our Board meeting and executive planning session gave us the opportunity to step away from our day-to-day routines and focus on what matters most collaborating, challenging each other’s thinking, and aligning on where we’re headed. It was also a great reminder that while technology keeps us connected, nothing replaces being together. Time spent collaborating, sharing ideas, solving challenges, and simply connecting outside of our normal routines makes us stronger as a leadership team. Those moments build the trust and alignment that carry into every decision we make. Appreciate the opportunity to lead alongside this team!

What if you could see an RFP, a competitor's expiring contract, and a grant signal — all scored for your fit — in one place? Then launch a full AI-powered response with one click? This is the GovSpend + Iris AI workflow, changing how teams win government contracts. In last week's webinar, GovSpend CEO Nate Haskins walked through GovSpend's Opportunities module, which scores and surfaces RFPs, expiring competitor contracts, grant signals, and meeting intelligence in one pane of glass. Attendees then saw how clicking 'Add to Iris' launches an AI-driven go/no-go analysis and full response drafting workflow in the Iris platform. Interested in a personalized demo of the integration? Jacob Carrillo, Solutions Engineer at GovSpend, walks through the GovSpend Slack app in our latest use case video. He asks it about an open RFP for flight simulation systems at Dallas ISD and gets the title, due date, agency documents, and a direct link in seconds. Then he asks a follow-up: any POs from Dallas ISD tied to flight simulators. GovSpend surfaces the answer. Redbird Flight Simulations, $21,000, with the incumbent and pricing right there. No new tabs. No pulling reports. Just a question, asked where your team already works. Watch the full demo below, and learn more about the GovSpend Slack app here: https://hubs.ly/Q04q8_yS0

The RFP-drop scramble is dying. Teams that are still reacting to opportunities instead of anticipating them are already behind. Join Nate Haskins (CEO, GovSpend) and Ben Hills (Founder & CEO, Iris AI) on Wednesday, July 22, at 12 PM ET for a live webinar about where public-sector procurement is headed and how our companies are building for it together. $18.3 billion in federal awards in FY25 skipped the FAR entirely. Other Transactions are no longer the workaround. They're becoming the default, especially as DoD's software acquisition reform pushes agencies toward faster, more flexible procurement built around mission needs instead of compliance checklists. The Army, Air Force, and Navy are leading the spending, but the real story is how fast OTs are spreading beyond DoD's usual playbook. Agencies are using them to move quicker, negotiate better terms, and bring non-traditional vendors into the fold. Read more about who's winning, where the money's flowing, and how to find these opportunities in our latest blog by Archisha Mehan: https://hubs.ly/Q04nWj4v0

There's no shortage of federal data. The problem is making sense of it fast enough to act on it. Murphy Allen, one of our Senior Solutions Engineers, ran a simple prompt through GovSpend's MCP connection with Claude: which federal programs should a cloud storage provider focus on, and why? Instead of digging through thousands of line items, he got back a clean briefing — top programs, propensity model, budget signals — sourced directly from GovSpend contract and transaction data. If federal data is part of how your team goes to market, we'd love to show you more of what's possible with GovSpend's MCP. Request a demo using the link below.
