The Special District Group was honored to sponsor the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona event last week, which featured an insightful overview of H.B. 2999 by Tyler Cobb of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. The session sparked meaningful dialogue on the new State Affordability Infrastructure District (SAID) framework. Much like the infrastructure financing tools used in states such as Utah and Colorado, SAIDs can serve as a vital public financing mechanism designed to accelerate infrastructure delivery and address Arizona's growing housing demand.
