At HCA Houston Healthcare, we believe in elevating care by elevating each other — and our patient care technicians (PCTs) bring that to life every day. During PCT Week, we proudly celebrate our PCTs whose work makes a meaningful impact across HCA Healthcare — a network that supports approximately 47 million patient encounters each year. PCTs are integral members of the care team, delivering hands-on care that directly supports patient outcomes. From assisting with mobility, personal care and meals to collaborating continuously with nurses and interdisciplinary teams, PCTs contribute essential clinical and compassionate care throughout the day. Their role reflects both technical skill and a commitment to teamwork, making them a foundational part of high-quality patient care. To our PCTs, thank you for the care, comfort and support you bring to patients and colleagues alike. #ImproveMoreLives #PatientCareTech #PCTWeek

We're proud to celebrate 50 years of The Woman's Hospital of Texas caring for women, babies and families in our community—marking a meaningful milestone alongside those who have been part of our journey from the very beginning. An anniversary celebration welcomed back founding physicians, along with Houston-area leaders and community partners, to reflect on the impact we’ve made together over the past five decades. From the first patients served to the families cared for today, this milestone is a testament to the dedication of our colleagues and the trust our community continues to place in us. As we look ahead, The Woman's Hospital of Texas remains committed to advancing high-quality, compassionate care for generations of women to come.

Last week, we celebrated #NationalHospitalWeek and the colleagues across our HCA Houston Healthcare system who make a difference in the lives of those we serve every day. As part of HCA Healthcare — a leading healthcare network of approximately 320,000 colleagues — we’re united by a shared commitment to care for patients and support our communities. That commitment is what #WeShowUp is all about – recognizing the compassion, dedication and heart our colleagues bring to every moment of care. To our colleagues, thank you for showing up to make that care possible.

During Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, HCA Houston Healthcare joins our broader HCA Healthcare network in recognizing the first responders and EMS professionals – both in our communities and across our organization – who answer the call when patients need care most. Each year, approximately 10 million patients receive care in HCA Healthcare emergency rooms and many of those patients rely on EMS professionals for safe, timely transport to our ERs, as well as critical care along the way. We’re proud to honor these dedicated first responders and EMS teams. Thank you for showing up with skill, courage and compassion every hour of every day. We’re grateful for the life-saving care you provide and the steady support you bring to the patients and communities you serve. #HealthierTomorrows #EMSWeek
