PCTs are integral members of the care team, delivering hands-on care that directly supports patient outcomes. From assisting with mobility, personal care and meals to collaborating continuously with nurses and interdisciplinary teams, PCTs contribute essential clinical and compassionate care throughout the day. Their role reflects both technical skill and a commitment to teamwork, making them a foundational part of high-quality patient care. We're proud to welcome Angela Dillon as our new Chief Operating Officer at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. Angela comes to us from affiliate Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas where she led initiatives that significantly improved patient throughput and patient experience, as well as expanded service lines. During Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, HCA Houston Healthcare joins our broader HCA Healthcare network in recognizing the first responders and EMS professionals – both in our communities and across our organization – who answer the call when patients need care most. Each year, approximately 10 million patients receive care in HCA Healthcare emergency rooms and many of those patients rely on EMS professionals for safe, timely transport to our ERs, as well as critical care along the way. We're happy to announce the appointment of new Chief Medical Officer Dr. Denise Sutler at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. As a board-certified OB/GYN and trusted member of medical staff since 2019, Dr. Sutler brings more than 27 years of experience dedicated to advancing women’s health. Having delivered hundreds of babies here, she understands the importance of safe, compassionate care during some of life’s most meaningful moments.
