MORE Foundation, a non-profit medical research organization, is performing a research study to validate a method of gait analysis using video cameras. We are looking for volunteers (who have not had hip or knee replacement) to perform a range of simple activities. To qualify as a participant, you will need to be 50-80 years of age, able to walk without assistive devices, go up and down a short (4-step) staircase without using the rail, and rise from a chair without needing to use your arms. If you would like to volunteer, we will need to ask some additional questions to ensure you meet all the inclusion criteria. A $50 stipend is available to those who qualify and participate in the study, and each visit should take up to 90 minutes. We will try to make reasonable accommodations for scheduling anytime during the day. We can also schedule appointments on the weekend if that is more convenient. This is a great opportunity to see first-hand how Human Motion research is conducted.
