🎉 Congratulations to HBC's First-Ever Student Intern! 🎉 Today, we're proud to recognize a milestone for Hughes Brothers Construction as we celebrate the successful completion of our pilot internship program. Congratulations to Jordan Pierre-Remy, a rising junior at Florida Tech majoring in Civil Engineering, on completing his summer internship with HBC! Throughout the past 8 weeks, Jordan gained hands-on experience across multiple areas of our operations, including our Estimating Department, working alongside one of our Field Superintendents, and learning the ins and outs of our Project Management Department. This well-rounded experience provided valuable insight into the planning, execution, and teamwork that go into delivering successful civil construction projects. At HBC, we believe the future of our industry depends on investing in the next generation of construction professionals. Providing students with real-world experience helps bridge the gap between the classroom and the jobsite while developing the future leaders of our industry.
