The job search & career community for research and insights professionals.

About us

The Insights Career Network (ICN) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit built to protect—and strengthen—the people who power the research and insights profession. In a time of increased and rapid disruption, ICN exists as the industry’s “career infrastructure”: a trusted, peer-led community that helps insights professionals stay employed, stay relevant, and stay connected—and helps organizations sustain the talent pipeline the industry depends on. Why ICN exists now The insights profession is undergoing existential change: a post-COVID reset, accelerating AI adoption, shrinking teams, and escalating expectations for “do-everything” candidates. The people whom we have trained for decades to understand the worlds and behaviors of our users, our customers, and our options are hurting from successive industry setbacks and continuous slow growth. Today, the insights professions are packed with restless, well-trained workers who feel less relevant and at risk if they aren’t already on the sidelines. The ICN is here to support and guide our community through this change in the most accessible and independent way possible: by leveraging the power of Community. Membership is free and exclusive to those currently working in the customer and business insights trade. Submit your application to join the Insights Career Network today to access exclusive insider resources curated specifically for insights job seekers. Members can also join our Linkedin Group: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/12658915/

One of the things I've been most excited about over the past few months has been the opportunity to build a new Marketing Intelligence & Insights function at Early Warning We're bringing together customer and market insights, competitive intelligence, data strategy, and marketing measurement into a single capability that helps drive smarter decisions and greater business impact across brands like Zelle and Paze. Now comes the exciting part: building the team. I'm looking for people who love building from the ground up, leaders who combine deep expertise with curiosity, strategic thinking, and a passion for turning insights into action. If you enjoy solving complex business problems, influencing strategy, partnering across functions, and creating capabilities that make a measurable impact, I'd love to connect. We're currently hiring for two key roles: Senior Director, Marketing Intelligence & Strategy Help shape our enterprise marketing insights capability by translating customer, market, and competitive intelligence into strategic recommendations. https://lnkd.in/gBrF7gPq Director, Marketing Measurement & Intelligence Partner with our Enterprise Data organization to build the measurement, data strategy, and performance capabilities that connect marketing investments to business outcomes. https://lnkd.in/gpWH74_7 I've been looking forward to sharing more about what we're building, and I'm even more excited to start building the team. If one of these roles sounds like a fit for you, or someone in your network, please apply or reach out. I look forward to connecting

The job search is like trying to walk on the deck of a boat at sea. At times, it's placid and almost a little too quiet, so you confidently stroll and laze about a little more often than you would. Sometimes the winds and waves of opportunity keep coming predictably and reliably, and your walk is measured and quick, pulling the ropes and sails to tack and weave and hold steady. And then the winds shift and cross, but the waves are now larger, more threatening and unpredictable, as if the waves are saying, "it's you or me, Sailoirboy"! Your footing is easily lost in what seems like the worst possible conditions and soon enough, so is your boat. It is NOT a good day at sea. What's more, you are alone. Or at least you seem to be. We all have these days when we are searching for a job or a career direction that will satisfy and fulfill. And those feelings can snowball and kill your confidence. To combat those emotions and totally human tendencies is to join a group of people who are also professionals, as they help each other through the shocks and uncertainty of career transitions. Join Victoria Montoya, Dr. Lori Walker,Michele Salomon, and me as we talk about ways to stay resilient during the career search at the Insights Career Network's bi-monthly Seekers & Allies Meetup, August 3.

📅 Insights Career Network Monday meetup on August 3 will feature Victoria Montoya discussing Real-World Resilience: Navigating Any Challenge with Confidence. Why this matters: We live in an unpredictable world where plans change overnight and pressure is a constant companion. What if you could learn to stop just surviving the chaos and start navigating setbacks with confidence? True resilience isn't about avoiding stress or never falling down—it is about knowing exactly how to navigate through the tough times and emerge stronger on the other side. Join us for an empowering, highly practical session where we explore what makes a truly resilient mindset and start building an actionable toolkit to stay grounded, adapt quickly, and take control of your response to change. Dr. Victoria Montoya stands at a truly unique crossroads of clinical expertise, organizational psychology, and wellness research.
