Before humanity can build almost anything, somebody has to move earth. GeekWire recently spent time with AIM founder and CEO Adam Sadilek at our Redmond headquarters to see how we're applying physical AI to one of the world's oldest and most fundamental industries. Autonomy in earthmoving presents a very different challenge from autonomy on the road. A bulldozer or excavator doesn't simply navigate its environment. Its job is to change it. AIM transforms existing heavy equipment into autonomous fleets capable of doing real production work in dynamic terrain and difficult environments, while helping move people out of hazardous operating zones. And while the work is happening today across mining, construction and defense, Adam's long-term vision goes much further. First, transform how we move earth here.
