This week one of our Cincinnati locations hosted US Representative Greg Landsman for a visit. We welcomed the opportunity to talk about policy changes, as well as showcase the invaluable apprentice program that the Grimme Group puts so much work into, giving Rep. June highlights across the country. Across the country, our teams celebrated milestones, national holidays, and professional development. Here are the highlights: The Allentown Distribution Center held their first annual cornhole championship and crowned their first winners with bragging rights.  . The Houston Shepherd location held a successful supplier showcase that included live hands-on training demonstrations. . Dennis Estes and Lisa Lowder both graduated from the WATT Leadership Development program to better support their teams. People leaders have hard jobs and because of that, we invest, support, and provide them with opportunities to develop their leadership skills to become better managers.  . The corporate office in Portland, Oregon celebrated their annual Strawberry Shortcake event, as an opportunity for managers to serve a sweet treat for the start of summer.  . The team at the Illinois Distribution Center put their heads together and beat an escape room. Armed with brains, teamwork, and a little bit of luck! . Shoutout to our Mount Laurel, New Jersey branch. A team that brings the same energy to everything they do, whether it's supporting customers, helping fellow branches, or tackling whatever challenges the day brings. . Just recently, the Mount Laurel team hosted a huge event at the Phillies Stadium, but the big events only tell part of the story. This is a team that quietly goes above and beyond when it matters most. What stands out most is their team-first mentality and competitive spirit, which drives them to raise the bar while keeping things fun with the friendly rivalries they share across our branch network. . Every customer who calls in or stops by the counter is treated like family. The warmth is felt across the warehouse, the phones, and everywhere in between. We are excited to announce that Rob Hollasch, CPA, CFE has joined Johnstone Supply as our new Chief Financial Officer! At Johnstone Supply, we believe that strong communities are built one neighbor at a time. That's why we're proud to have partnered with a valued contractor in the OKC area to donate and install new heating and cooling equipment for a community member who needed it. We’re grateful for the dedication Owens Comfort Solutions showed when presented with an opportunity to help a neighbor and the time they took to make it right. Give a shoutout to our Casper, Wyoming branch! The newest location in the Sioux group. . Beyond the cowboy boots, hats, and belt buckles, this team has hit the ground running in a big way. Through their hands-on training lab, they've been getting contractors up to speed on the latest industry updates and equipment changes — filling a real gap in technical support across the state. Pair that with dependable delivery, and they've managed to break into a new market and drive impressive growth, all while bringing a fresh counter team up to speed. Oh, and did we mention the counter days come with BBQ brisket? . This team is tight knit, pulls together when it counts, whether that's navigating Wyoming's famously unpredictable weather or going the extra mile for their contractors.
