Delayed but exciting post as it has been a busy 7+ months since this transition happened: After a 3-4 year "half-time" challenge of becoming a fulltime firefighter/EMT with the St. Johns Fire District - God's path directed me back into the building/construction industry where I spent my first 25 years. I want to sincerely thank the men and women of the St. Johns Fire District for giving me an opportunity to have been of service to our local community doing cool stuff, both with and for cool people (CSCP)! #StJohnsFireDistrict #TheDistrict Through a series of events in 2025, I was introduced to a company, culture and team built of grit and entrepreneurial spirit in Kennedy Richter Construction (KRC). After seeing the scale of their work and the level at which they delivered for their clients, I just could not say no. Project Complete: 1014 St. Andrews Road Highlighting the completion of our work at 1014 St. Andrews Road, completed this past April in partnership with Kennedy Richter Construction, LLC. For this project, Tidewater installed Alucobond EC-200 dry joint wall panels, flush metal soffits and wall panels, fascia panels, and a continuous insulation system featuring a vented hat channel by Clark Dietrich and 1" mineral wool. 🏗️ Project Update | Aurora, Colorado Water intrusion caused by improper installation during the original construction led to extensive repairs at this multifamily property. Our team is removing the existing concrete and waterproofing assembly down to the framing, repairing damaged structural members, installing Tremco 250GC fluid-applied waterproofing membrane, and replacing fiber-reinforced concrete at balconies and breezeways throughout the property. 🏗️ Project Spotlight: Sands Beach 📍 South Carolina Kennedy Richter Construction completed an emergency restoration project for Beach Club HOA Inc., delivering critical life safety and structural repairs for a fully occupied 12-story condominium community with approximately 300 residential units. Scope of Work: • Emergency guardrail replacement and stabilization • Selective structural concrete repairs • Delaminated concrete restoration • Phased construction sequencing in an occupied building With residents and vacation rentals remaining active throughout construction, our team carefully coordinated each phase of the project to minimize disruption while maintaining a safe environment.
