  • Quen Blackwell doesn't do a 12-step routine. She does three. The creator and certified M·A·C girl curated a limited-edition lip kit straight from her everyday rotation—three products, one very Quen point of view. She sat down with ELLE Magazine to talk the collab and what she actually reaches for on repeat. It's how we like to build with creators: hand them the mic, not the script. The people shaping the beauty conversation tell it best in their own words. Available now in the US and Canada. Full interview: https://lnkd.in/gTqRXhCV #MACCosmetics #QuenBlackwell

  • We turned a toolbox into a store. Seriously. Our first Store of the Future just opened at Lotte World Mall in Seoul—built like an artist's kit, styled like backstage, and finished in stainless steel and M·A·C black. It's part retail, part playground, all artistry. At the center: a surreal floral installation from Flover, the New York studio that treats flowers less like decoration and more like a fever dream (complimentary). Industrial edge meets full bloom: very us. "This new store is a playground for creativity—designed as a space where everyone can come to experiment, discover, and learn about makeup," says Nicola Formichetti, our Global Creative Director. "We can't wait to welcome people into this next chapter of the M·A·C experience." Global Brand Ambassador ELLA stopped by for launch day, because of course she did. ❤️ Seoul is just the blueprint. Watch this space—literally. #MACCosmetics

  • How do you break through in beauty right now? Emily Bromfield has thoughts— and receipts. Our SVP of Global Marketing sat down with WWD to get candid about what it actually takes: the Chappell Roan, Gabbriette, and Quen Blackwell campaigns, moving at the speed of internet culture, and the strategy behind our biggest marketing moments this year. Worth your coffee break. ☕ Full interview: https://lnkd.in/eBmAKteg #MACCosmetics

  • "Wearing makeup and being yourself, even if the world may make fun of you—that is activism." Chappell Roan is the cover star of MACzine's Pride issue, and she came ready to say something. ❤️ Inside, our VIVA GLAM Ambassador sits down with M·A·C PRO Artist Andrew Dahling to talk maximalist makeup, creative freedom, and the stories behind her most iconic looks... from character-driven color to full editorial transformation. For Andrew, it all comes back to one simple truth: "Makeup is pure magic." The two share a creative language built on play, imagination, and a deep love of the craft and it shows in every look they've made together. The issue also dives into Chappell's viral VIVA GLAM campaign, beauty as activism, and the queer icons who paved the way. • NYC, we said we'd see you soon. ❤️ On June 28, M·A·C closed out a Pride month that spanned three cities and two continents—Los Angeles, Tokyo, and finally New York—marching everywhere with the same conviction that launched VIVA GLAM in 1994: All Genders. Always. New York showed up in full. We kicked off Pride Weekend as a sponsor of Youth Pride, welcoming attendees with an interactive photo moment and a dance floor that did not stay empty for long. Before Sunday's parade, we teamed up with The Trevor Project at our SoHo store, where one of our in-store Artists created a look for the organization's CEO—a small moment of artistry in service of a big mission. Then came the parade. More than 100 M·A·C and wELCome employees and their guests marched through the city alongside 17 creator partners, with Lushious Massacre and DJ Griffin Maxwell Brooks keeping the energy up from the M·A·C bus the whole way—its bold creative inspired by Chappell Roan's new VIVA GLAM campaign. From Hollywood to Shibuya to Fifth Avenue, the banner never changed: individuality, inclusivity, and giving back — 33 years of VIVA GLAM and counting. 🌈 #VIVAGLAM #MACCosmetics #Pride

  • Before the brush, there’s the read. For M·A·C Senior Artist Rumiko Ikeda, understanding a face has always come before working on it: reading energy, individuality, and how someone wants to be seen before a single product is applied. In our Artist Spotlight Series, she breaks it down: the misconception that follows this craft, the product she’d rebuild her kit around, and what M·A·C still means to a working artist today. Read on below… 1. What’s the one thing most people get wrong about your craft? “Most people think makeup is about changing someone. I believe it’s about revealing who they already are. The real craft is knowing what to enhance and what to leave untouched.” 2. If you had to rebuild your kit from scratch, what’s the first product you’d reach for? "FIX+ Original. Skin is always my starting point. The face is the canvas, and before any colour or trend, I focus on creating skin that looks fresh, natural, and alive.” 3. What does a face tell you before you’ve touched it? “Before I see features, I see character. Every face tells me something about a person’s energy, individuality, and how they want to be seen. My job is to enhance that story, not overwrite it.” 4. What’s the most underrated skill in this industry? “Understanding people. Beyond skin, features, or trends, it’s the ability to recognize individuality and bring it forward with makeup.” 5. What does M·A·C mean to the working artist today? “M·A·C is still one of the few places where artistry comes first. It’s a brand built on creativity, individuality, and inclusion — giving artists the freedom to express ideas while continuing to learn and grow.” #MACSpotlight #MACCosmetics #MakeupArtistry #BeautyIndustry

  • Less than one week into her role as M·A·C VIVA GLAM Ambassador and Chappell Roan is already getting to work. ❤️   On June 11, Chappell joined M·A·C PRO Artist Andrew Dahling at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, a VIVA GLAM grantee, for an afternoon of artistry, conversation, and connection with LGBTQ+ youth. Friends ages 13 to 24 got a live makeup lesson, a real conversation about artistry, and a room that was built for them.   Together, they shared makeup tips, creative inspiration, and a space where young people could show up exactly as they are.   Moments like these are what VIVA GLAM is all about—using the power of self-expression to support and uplift LGBTQ+ communities.   📸 Paris Mumpower   #MACCosmetics #VIVAGLAM #Pride #ChappellRoan

What a night. ❤️   This year's Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Broadway Bares: License to Strip raised a record-breaking $2.5M+ to support people across the country with access to meals, medication, healthcare, and more. As a longtime presenting sponsor and backstage makeup partner, we're proud to stand with a community that continues to show up, give back, and make an impact.   To celebrate more than 30 years of M·A·C VIVA GLAM, M·A·C North America National Artist Kyle Anderson presented a $200,000 donation on behalf of VIVA GLAM—because one lipstick can still change lives.   Congratulations to everyone who made this unforgettable evening possible. 🌈   📸 Michael Hull, Curtis Brown, Jonathan Tichler, Katie Mollison, Thomas Mundell #MACCosmetics #VIVAGLAM #BroadwayBares #Pride

  • M·A·C Senior Artist Hannah Rosie Bennett started her career studying Fine Art. Nearly 14 years later — across London, Amsterdam, and fashion weeks in New York, Milan, and Paris — she's still approaching a face the way a painter approaches a canvas. Every artist has a short list of the products they'd never leave behind, substitute or negotiate on. These are Hannah's... Paintstick Palette: "As a makeup artist, it's very rare that you use only one shade of lipstick or find the exact match of eyeshadow first time. I'm mixing at least 3-4 shades every time to create the tone that's just right — it's a bit like painting. A bit more white, then yellow, a smidge of red and finally you'll have it. 'Artist' is in the job title after all. The Paintstick Palette lets you mix any shade and it's got me out of so many situations. The texture is creamy, meltable and has loads of playtime." Studio Radiance Face and Body Foundation: "I always say if M·A·C discontinues this I'll leave because I cannot imagine a world without it. I've tried a million different skin tints but always go back to this. It's a staple in every pro MUA kit. It's like when you wear a pair of skin tone tights and it smooths out imperfections like an invisible veil. The way it doesn't cling to any texture, sits perfectly throughout the day, never cracks or peels. It looks like skin that's polished, expensive and gorgeous." Extended Play Mascara: "If you want a mascara that'll work on anybody, it's this. The tiny brush can reach even the shortest or straightest lashes right at the root. Applying mascara is messy, but this one is dainty and easy to be precise with. It's also a tubing mascara so it never smudges and you don't need to use heavy remover to take it off. I use it for red carpets, bridal and fashion. I totally trust it." Strobe Dewy Skin Tint: "Such an underdog of a product — not enough people know about it. If somebody looks tired, hungover, jet lagged or dry, this is the first thing I'll reach for. It smooths out skin, gives a little bit of coverage but the thing I love most is the light reflecting particles because they bounce the light off your face in all the right ways and make you look fresh and alive again. I layer it under foundation for a healthy glow, dab it on top for a touch of shine, use it alone for a post-workout athletic glow or mix it into full coverage foundation for a more buttery skin look." Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick: "I really believe if there is one way to transform a face in seconds it's red lipstick. It makes you feel confident even on the worst days and makes you look put together when you've made zero effort. I work long days on set and backstage and rarely look in the mirror but I won't ever be seen without a red lip. This one is my go-to because it stays put and rarely needs touch ups. If you're working with singers or if the client is likely to kiss somebody, this formula is my go-to." #MACCosmetics #MakeupArtistry #MACSpotlight #BeautyIndustry

  • More than thirty years in, and VIVA GLAM still shows up. Los Angeles ✔️. Tokyo ✔️. And New York City on June 28. M·A·C is marching through Pride month with the same conviction that launched this fund in 1994: All Genders. Always. In Hollywood, the VIVA GLAM float brought the campaign to the streets. In Shibuya, hundreds joined the march through one of Tokyo's most iconic corridors. Same banner, same commitment. Different skyline. $545 million raised, with every cent from every VIVA GLAM product going directly to organizations advancing health equity, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ rights worldwide. With Chappell Roan leading this year's campaign, that legacy is finding new resonance and new audiences. NYC, we'll see you soon! #VIVAGLAM #MACCosmetics #Pride
