Following #EWMA2026, we are pleased to highlight an important addition to our Mediq Select wound care portfolio. Through our cooperation with Polaroid Therapeutics, a Swiss-based biotech start-up developing innovative antimicrobial technology, POLTX_Fiber™ will become available in selected European markets as Kliniderm Super fiber + APT™, under the Mediq Select label. The dressing integrates Antimicrobial Polymer Technology™ (APT™) within a soft, conformable non-woven structure. Upon contact with wound exudate, it forms a gel that helps maintain a moist wound environment, support autolytic debridement, protect the wound edge and surrounding skin from maceration, and provide antimicrobial protection in a single dressing. By combining Polaroid Therapeutics’ antimicrobial technology with Mediq’s reach across hospital, community and home care settings, we aim to support broader access to innovative wound care solutions where they are needed most.
