Business is built on relationships, and last week we had the chance to celebrate some of the best. Last week, Meyer hosted clients and team members at Polar Park in Worcester, MA, for a memorable evening of baseball, networking, and appreciation as the WooSox took on the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. ⚾ We're incredibly grateful for the trust our clients place in us every day and for the opportunity to connect outside the office. As a family-owned and operated company, relationships will always be at the heart of what we do. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to continuing to grow, collaborate, and celebrate together. #ClientAppreciation #Partnerships #RelationshipDriven #TeamMeyer #PolarPark

When University of Connecticut's renowned Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry needed to relocate their collection, they trusted Meyer with over 2,000 irreplaceable cultural artifacts—handcrafted puppets and masks from performance traditions around the world. This wasn't standard moving. Every piece required preservation-grade handling, careful packing protocols, and teams who understood that these aren't just objects—they're stories, traditions, and educational treasures. Meyer managed three phases of relocation to ensure every puppet was treated with the care and precision it deserved. A recent 12-day project had our team relocating specialized manufacturing equipment out of a second-floor window for Rhody Rug. We safely removed braiding machines, sewing machines, and accessories, loaded them onto our trucks, transported them 30 miles, and placed them in their new company shop. Proud to help preserve American manufacturing and support a company that has been crafting Made-in-the-USA braided rugs since 1987. 📍 Rhode Island #MeyerTransportation #SpecializedRigging #IndustrialMoving #ManufacturingSupport #RhodyRug #MadeInUSA #HeavyHaul #MachineryMoving #RhodeIslandBusiness #ProjectSpotlight

We recently partnered with Bucher Emhart Glass, the world’s leading international supplier of equipment, controls, and parts to the glass container industry, to assist with upgrading their equipment. Our team safely removed machine columns, bridge components, and existing mold machine inserts and bed—clearing the way for a new, modern system installation. Another successful project supporting operational improvements and long-term efficiency. #ProjectHighlight #IndustrialServices #EquipmentRemoval #Machinery #Manufacturing #ConnecticutBusiness #WindsorCT #Logistics #Operations

Going the Extra Mile for Historic Redevelopment America at 250, Farmington at 386: Meyer's Partnership Preserves Community Legacy As America celebrates its 250th birthday this weekend, we're honoring a community that came before: Farmington, CT—founded in 1640, over 135 years before America's founding. Farmington's history is one of courage and conscience. The town became known as "Grand Central Station" on the Underground Railroad, providing safe houses for escaped slaves. In 1841, residents housed and educated 38 Mende Africans from the Amistad slave ship revolt while raising funds for their return to Africa. Today, Meyer is honored to support Farmington's evolution—from helping relocate the Farmington Historical Society to a beautiful stone mansion that honors the town's treasured artifacts, to assisting with Town Hall and High School renovations. When a community honors its past while investing in tomorrow, it needs a partner who understands what that means. Meyer is grateful for the trust Farmington has placed in us. Happy 250th birthday, America. And happy 386 years to Farmington, CT. We’re proud to support organizations that make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. Last week, two managers from our Delaware office, Chad Forrest and Roy Marrs, were invited to attend a Habitat for Humanity International dedication in Wilmington, DE. The event celebrated the completion of five new homes for local families. This project reflects an ongoing commitment to expanding access to affordable housing and revitalizing historically underserved communities. As part of this ongoing partnership, we were honored to receive donor recognition at the dedication. At Meyer, we help give usable furniture and materials a second life by donating items that would otherwise be discarded. These contributions are then resold through Habitat, with proceeds directly supporting projects like this one. It’s an honor to play a part in efforts that strengthen communities and create meaningful, lasting change. #CommunityImpact #Sustainability #HabitatForHumanity #GivingBack #TeamMeyer
