🎉 Midland Care Connection, Inc. Celebrates Grand Opening of New Emporia PACE Center! 🎉 On June 26, Midland Care proudly celebrated the grand opening of its newly renovated PACE Center in Emporia. Located at 1301 Chestnut Street, the new center provides expanded space designed to help older adults age with dignity, maintain their independence, and stay connected to their community. Midland Care launched its PACE program in 2007, making it the 37th program in the nation. Today, PACE operates in 32 states, and Midland Care serves more than 700 participants across Northeast Kansas. The newly renovated Emporia center reflects our ongoing commitment to providing innovative, person-centered care that helps older adults continue living safely and independently at home. Midland Care Connection, Inc. recently held its Annual Board Meeting, bringing together board members and leadership to reflect on the past year, celebrate accomplishments, and look ahead to the future of our mission-driven work. One of the most meaningful parts of the meeting was hearing directly from individuals who have been impacted by Midland Care services. Their stories and experiences provided powerful reminders of the importance of compassionate care, connection, and support for those we serve throughout our communities. The meeting also included board elections and the welcoming of new members to Midland Care’s Board of Directors. We are grateful for the continued leadership, experience, and dedication of all who serve on the board in support of Midland Care’s mission. We were also honored to welcome special guests, including Kansas State Representatives David Buehler and Mike King, as well as retired Midland Care President and CEO Karen Weichert. Thank you to everyone who joined us as we celebrated the past year and looked ahead to the future of serving individuals and families across our communities.

🚀 We’re excited to share a big step forward for Midland Care Connection, Inc. PACE! We’ve officially kicked off End User Boot Camp as we prepare to go live with CareHub, our new electronic health record built for PACE, by PACE, in partnership with IntusCare. This transition is an important milestone in strengthening how we support seniors—streamlining workflows, improving coordination, and equipping our team with tools designed specifically for PACE care. The energy and engagement from the team is fantastic, and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead as we move toward go‑live.
