Many healthcare organizations have moved beyond asking whether food as medicine works. The next question is: How do you scale it? Scaling food as medicine requires more than offering meals. It means identifying the right populations, integrating nutrition into care pathways, measuring outcomes and building programs that can grow alongside evolving healthcare needs. As food as medicine continues gaining momentum, organizations that take a strategic, evidence-based approach will be best positioned to improve outcomes while managing costs. Our latest blog explores what it takes to move from individual programs to sustainable, scalable nutrition solutions. How is your organization thinking about scaling food as medicine? As healthcare continues to evolve toward prevention, whole-person care and better outcomes, nutrition is gaining well-deserved recognition as a strategic part of care delivery. For individuals managing chronic conditions, recovering after hospitalization or navigating complex health needs, the right nutrition support can help reinforce care plans, support adherence and contribute to overall stability and well-being. The opportunity ahead is continuing to think beyond nutrition as a one-time intervention and instead consider how it can be more intentionally integrated across the care continuum. As organizations look for new ways to improve outcomes and enhance the member experience, nutrition remains an important part of the conversation. Where do you see the greatest opportunity for nutrition to make a bigger impact in care delivery? #FoodAsMedicine #CareManagement #Nutrition #ValueBasedCare

Difficulty swallowing is often treated as a quality-of-life issue. In reality, it can be a meaningful care management challenge. When an individual cannot safely eat or drink, the impact extends beyond nutrition. Hydration, medication adherence, strength, recovery and overall safety can all be affected. These are the kinds of practical barriers that can disrupt even the most thoughtfully designed nutrition care plans. As healthcare continues to prioritize outcomes, prevention and whole-person care, identifying and addressing barriers to nutritional adherence deserves greater attention. Because access to nutrition is only part of the equation. Individuals also need solutions that align with their clinical needs and abilities. What nutrition-related barriers do you see most often affecting adherence, outcomes or quality of life? #DysphagiaAwarenessMonth #FoodAsMedicine #PopulationHealth #CareManagement
