Project of the Week: USC Hybrid High offers a unique learning approach distinct from traditional classrooms. Emphasizing student ownership, the school allows students to progress at their own pace through online modules to master skill. The design features quad-pods for each grade, consisting of four classroom-like spaces around a shared open space, fostering a small community feel. Congratulations to Ainsley Bauer , recipient of the 2026 IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter Student Recognition Award. This award recognizes an IIDA student member who is making a meaningful impact within their campus and region. Considering our Northern Pacific Chapter spans Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Alberta, and British Columbia, this is an incredible accomplishment. As a University of Idaho student, she testified in support of HB790 at the Idaho State Capitol, helping advance interior design legislation and contributing to the bill's passage. Her advocacy demonstrates the impact emerging professionals can have on the profession and the communities it serves. The renovation of the John A. Sexson Auditorium revitalized a historical performance venue for Pasadena City College while preserving its Art Deco character.
