🚀 Earlier this month, NAVFAC Southeast Commanding Officer Capt. Matthew Williams visited Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. He joined the team and partners for a Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Governance meeting on the Engineering Test Facility project. Capt. Williams met with Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) Space Coast teammates and toured progress on the project's concrete foundations. Construction Manager Mike Jamison briefed him alongside ROICC Lt. Cmdr. Pete Fovargue. 🏗️🚧 The Engineering Test Facility is being built by construction partner Walsh Federal, LLC and will play a critical role in supporting, updating and maintaining the weapon systems that will arm the U.S. Navy’s new Columbia class nuclear-powered submarines at the Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU). Excellent coordination team! 💪
