Totally tubular? We'd say so 🌈 One of the most playful motifs spotted at #NeoCon2026 was the use of colorful tubular forms. Whether serving as a structural element or a decorative accent, these bold curves introduced movement, rhythm, and a sense of play throughout showrooms. “The level of ingenuity experienced at NeoCon fueled both attendees and manufacturers and the energy was palpable throughout THE MART." Principal and Creative Director of Ames Design, Carolyn Ames Noble offers a thoughtful read on the colors, forms, and collaborations that defined this year’s show. She reflects: "Co-creation was an underpinning of the show, where established brands collaborated and celebrated the work of artists, musicians, architects and designers. Exuberant yellow and fresh pink fueled the show, representing vibrancy, optimism and hope. Furnishing forms were circular or had rounded corners, often with low acoustic surrounds, inviting us to linger in comfort and conversation.” We're grateful to Carolyn for sharing her perspective on the ideas, moments, and material directions that made #NeoCon2026 so memorable.
