  • Here's some cool news... American Clean Power Association (ACP) just released an analysis of the intense July 2026 heatwave, showing how renewable energy sources could have ensured better relief and cost savings for homes and businesses that rely on the national grid. With this summer's surge in cooling demand, prices skyrocketed as emergency generation measures went into effect. Even inefficient gas and coal peaking units had to be paid to run to keep up with demand. But, according to the ACP, It doesn't have to be that way. The same report also showed that 74 GW of existing shovel-ready clean power projects - currently waiting to be deployed - could have saved consumers more than $170 million while strengthening reliability when electricity was needed most. It is a fact Nextpower knows all too well, and a big reason we remain dedicated to powering what's next. Leveraging our advanced solar and storage platform, we look forward to helping America turn those potential energy savings into a reality in the years to come. • Agrivoltaics is about making land work harder—producing renewable energy while creating opportunities for agriculture. Our AgriPV demonstration yard at Nextpower HQ's Center for Solar Excellence in Fremont, California brings that vision to life. This growing season features: • 🌽 Corn to represent large-scale commodity agriculture • 🍓 Strawberries as a high-value specialty crop • 🥕 A diverse mix of vegetables including leeks, peppers, tomatoes, and beets • 🌼 Pollinator habitat integrated throughout the site to support biodiversity and native restoration More than a demonstration, the yard is a place where customers and partners can experience #AgriPV firsthand and where our employees participate in the harvest, taking fresh produce home and helping bring the connection between agriculture and clean energy to life. Seeing these harvests beneath operating systems is a reminder that with thoughtful design, solar can support more than energy production—it can help create thriving, multifunctional landscapes. #Agrivoltaics #SolarEnergy #RenewableEnergy #DualUse #Agriculture #Pollinators Ezra Ziegler Matthias B. More than 100,000 energy professionals gathered at Intersolar Europe part of The smarter E Europe, underscoring the continued momentum behind Europe's clean energy transition. It was an energizing week connecting with customers, partners, members of the media, and industry leaders to discuss the technologies and strategies shaping the next generation of utility-scale solar. A highlight of the week was introducing the ZIMMERMANN PV-Steel Group team and sharing our vision for bringing our organizations together. Getting to know their talented team reinforced the strategic opportunity ahead. By combining Zimmermann's deep steel engineering expertise and established European presence with Nextpower's global technology platform, we are working toward giving customers greater flexibility to deploy the right solution for every project—whether fixed tilt, trackers, advanced foundations, eBOS, power conversion systems, battery energy storage, or emerging applications such as AgriPV and floating PV. Together, we aim to help developers, EPCs, and asset owners navigate Europe's diverse permitting, land, grid, and project requirements with a broader portfolio of proven technologies. We were also pleased to share the continued expansion of our platform with members of the press, including the growth of our NX Gemini™ 2P tracker portfolio and NX Anchor™ foundation solutions, demonstrating how Nextpower continues to innovate across the full utility-scale solar value chain. Beyond the exhibition floor, our experts contributed to important conversations shaping the future of the industry. Philipp Kunze joined Aurora Energy Research to present findings from the study, "Maximising Value for PV + BESS Co-Located Assets," highlighting how mounting system selection can influence project IRRs, NPVs, and gross margins in Germany—a market that offers valuable insights for developers and investors across Europe as co-located solar and storage projects continue to accelerate. Equally important was the conversation around leadership. At the flagship WiSEu Network Breakfast Workshop, The Leadership Lens: Leading Through Double Standards in the Energy Transition, Paola Berard shared perspectives on one of the industry's most persistent structural barriers—the motherhood penalty—and the critical role organizational culture plays in creating more equitable pathways to leadership. The discussion served as a reminder that the energy transition is not only about advancing technology, infrastructure, and capital, but also about building leadership cultures where diverse talent can thrive. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, attended our sessions, and engaged with our team throughout the week. We look forward to continuing these conversations and helping accelerate Europe's clean energy future with technologies, partnerships, and people that drive lasting impact.

Kicking off The smarter E Europe / Intersolar Europe, we announced that Nextpower has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Zimmermann PV-Steel Group, a Germany-based solar technology provider with more than 20 GW deployed across more than 2,400 projects in 58 countries. This transaction will expand our solar technology platform with complementary structural solutions, including fixed tilt, carports, high-density trackers, agriPV, and floating PV. Together with Nextpower’s trackers, eBOS, PCS, BESS, software, and services, ZIMMERMANN PV-Steel Group will help us support customers across more project types, site conditions, permitting requirements, and land-use needs. Europe is not a one-size-fits-all solar market. Developers and EPCs need the right technology for each site. This agreement helps us bring more of the power plant together while deepening our presence in Germany, one of Europe’s largest solar markets. We are excited to welcome the Zimmermann team and build on its legacy of engineering discipline, customer focus, and execution. Meet our team at booth A.580 to get to know our latest product expansions. As solar markets continue to mature, success is no longer measured solely by installed capacity or power plant performance. Increasingly, utilities, IPPs, and developers are evaluating how multiple technologies and system components work together. The next frontier is clearly co-locating PV power plants with BESS. Philipp Kunze, Vice President of Business Development & Sales Europe at Nextpower, will join industry experts and present on how the choice of mounting structure can have a significant impact on asset performance. Nextpower and Aurora Energy Research worked together on a study titled “Maximising Value for PV + BESS Co-Located Assets: Trackers vs. Fixed-Tilt” to show the influence on IRRs, NPVs and project gross margins in the German market as an example for many European markets. During the session, Philipp Kunze will provide an overview of the study’s results and what it means for utilities, IPPs, and developers deciding on mounting systems for their next-generation PV assets. We look forward to connecting with asset owners, partners, and industry leaders in Munich to discuss the future of solar technology and the strategies that will define the next generation of utility-scale solar projects. 📍 ICM – International Congress Center Munich, Room 14A 📅 June 23, 2026 🕙 10:20 a.m.–10:35 a.m. Explore our presence and solutions ahead of #ISEU2026: https://lnkd.in/eCpEriq5 #IntersolarEurope #TheSmarterE #SolarTracking #UtilityScaleSolar #SolarEnergy #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition #Nextpower #AssetPerformance #AssetValue #InstallerEfficiency #LCOE #SolarInnovation

From coal mine to clean power. In Western Macedonia, Greece, the 550 MW Oricheio PPC Ptolemaida Solar Park is transforming a former lignite mine into one of Europe’s largest utility-scale solar projects. Developed by PPC Renewables - ΔΕΗ Ανανεώσιμες (PPCR), with TERNA S.A. as EPC, the project uses Nextpower NX Horizon® smart solar trackers with bifacial modules to help maximize generation across complex brownfield terrain. Once fully operational, Ptolemaida is expected to generate nearly 1 TWh of renewable electricity annually, supply up to 1.8 percent of Greece’s annual electricity demand, and avoid more than 550,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. This is what the energy transition looks like at scale: repurposing legacy energy land into high-performance clean power infrastructure. Download the full case study and see how we're helping Greece power what's next: https://lnkd.in/ejneAVeN #Nextpower #NXHorizon #SolarEnergy #UtilityScaleSolar #EnergyTransition #RenewableEnergy #Greece #CleanPower
