    Today, Wowza is proud to announce the general availability of the Wowza Video Intelligence Framework (VIF)®, a new category of video infrastructure that transforms live video into real-time, actionable intelligence. With more than one billion cameras deployed worldwide, organizations have invested billions in video infrastructure. Yet less than 1% of video is ever analyzed, leaving valuable operational insights locked inside live streams. That's why we built VIF. For more than 20 years, Wowza has powered mission-critical video. Today, we're evolving video infrastructure from moving video to understanding it. Available directly in Wowza Streaming Engine, VIF brings AI to where the video already lives. It analyzes live streams in real time, detects what matters, triggers alerts, automates workflows, and turns every camera into an intelligent sensor, all while keeping video, AI models, and data under the customer's control. VIF puts organizations in control of how AI is deployed and managed. Customers have the freedom to choose their deployment architecture, select the models that best fit their use case, and keep data where it makes the most sense for their business.
