The largest driver behavior study of its kind! This summer, we partnered with Bicycle Colorado to get real, on-the-ground data about driver behavior all across Colorado. Hired 8 operators and used our AI tech to observe 196 intersections for 30 minutes at a time in 25 different communities. Results: 50K vehicles observed and a whopping 7.9K of them committed some form of violation: running a stop sign, red light, or yield sign, speeding, not wearing a seatbelt or driving distracted. In just 30 minutes of observation. There are thousands of crashes, injuries, and fatalities a year in CO... and the results of this study tell us why. We won't make our roadways safer, until we have wide-scale behavior change.
