For 40 years, OhioNet has been fostering collaboration and resource sharing to help libraries and their communities thrive. Delivering high-caliber, cost-effective resources and opportunities, we meet your needs so you can meet the needs of the diverse populations you serve. With more than 300 members serving a network of more than 4,000 libraries and information centers impacting millions of people throughout Ohio, West Virginia and western Pennsylvania, OhioNet provides innovative technology solutions, products and training. We explore opportunities for pooling resources, sharing skills and creating collaborations to help all libraries become indispensable resources for their communities.

    We want to hear from you! 📣 There's still time to submit a proposal to present at OhioNet's upcoming Human Resources Summit. This in-person event, hosted at OhioNet on September 30, will explore the opportunities and challenges of supporting a strong library workforce. We are looking for presentations that highlight the following, or similar, topics: • Recruitment and retention strategies: • Employee wellbeing and workplace culture • Performance management and employee development/training • Onboarding and offboarding approaches • Succession planning and leadership development • Compensation, benefits, and workforce trends • Navigating employment law and HR compliance • Navigating hybrid or flexible work environments We welcome a variety of presentation styles, including: • Standalone presentations • Lightning round presentations • Panelists or roundtable discussion participants/facilitator ⏳ The deadline for proposals is July 31, 2026. 🔗 Learn more and submit your ideas here: https://lnkd.in/esRnfjkN.
