What do you get if you cross an astronaut, a transport minister, and a powerhouse charity leader? Earlier this month, we had the privilege of finding out, as we were invited to attend The Air League's Annual Reception and Awards Ceremony at the House of Lords. With astronaut Tim Peake CMG presenting the awards, Keir Mather joining industry leaders from across aviation and transport, and The Air League CEO Janine Hornsby MBA championing the next generation of talent, the event was an important celebration of the people shaping the future of flight. The real stars, however, were the inspiring young people and award recipients whose stories of courage, determination and achievement reminded everyone why The Air League's work must absolutely continue.
