Every office has that person who swears they saw the upset coming. For the last month, nearly 1,000 onsemi employees had a leaderboard to settle it. For the 2026 World Cup, we hosted a virtual World Pick 2026 Bracket Challenge where onsemi team members could put their predictive prowess to the test. With 48 teams, three host countries and more matches than any World Cup before it, there was plenty to call. From the opening match to the final whistle, colleagues at sites around the world predicted the winner and score of every game and earned points for accuracy. The group stage humbled a lot of brackets. The knockout rounds finished the job. Through it all, it gave us a shared reason to talk football across time zones and some of the group chats got nearly as competitive as the matches. In the end, no one could match our top three prognosticators: 🥇 Mohd Afiq Radzuan, Seremban Site One, Malaysia 🥈 Cliff Lister Viloria, Carmona, Philippines 🥉 Taeho Jeon, Bucheon, Korea Congratulations to all three. You've earned the bragging rights and the shout-out. To everyone else, four years is a long time to wait for a rematch.

AI isn’t just becoming smarter. It’s becoming physical. That shift is changing the technologies that matter the most. As AI evolves from cloud-based models to physical systems, the technologies that power and sense the world become just as important as the models themselves. Power delivery and sensing are no longer supporting functions. They’re strategic enablers that determine how efficiently AI can think, move and interact with the real world. Created in collaboration with Mouser Electronics, our new eBook, Powering and Sensing AI: From Cloud Infrastructure to Physical AI, explores why power and sensing are emerging as strategic enablers of AI and what that means for the future of intelligent systems. How do you shrink a power supply without sacrificing efficiency? It starts by rethinking the switching technology at the heart of the design. GaNEXUS™ from onsemi enables high-frequency, high-density power conversion for AI infrastructure and robotic motor drive applications, helping engineers reduce the size of magnetics, improve efficiency and increase power density without compromising performance. See how GaNEXUS is redefining what’s possible for next-generation power architectures. 👉  https://ctrly.io/kKmqQ

One of the biggest challenges in AI isn't building faster chips. It's powering them. The next generation of AI data centers won't be defined by compute alone. They'll be defined by how efficiently power moves from the grid to the GPU. That's creating new design challenges and opportunities for power engineers. Our AI Data Center System Solution Guide breaks down the architectures, power conversion stages and semiconductor technologies behind modern AI infrastructure. It covers AC-DC conversion, battery backup, intermediate bus conversion, multiphase DC-DC and point-of-load regulation and includes a 12 kW AI Cloud PSU reference design that achieves 98% peak efficiency. If you're building the next generation of AI infrastructure, this guide is built for you. Download the free guide today: https://lnkd.in/gbna4CuK

A camera captures an image. An autonomous machine interprets it. That's the difference between seeing and perceiving. Whether it's a drone navigating a complex environment or a robot making real-time decisions on the factory floor, autonomous systems depend on advanced image sensing to understand the world around them. Features like high dynamic range, global shutter, near-infrared imaging and depth sensing do more than produce better images. They transform visual data into the actionable intelligence machines need to navigate, detect and respond with confidence. In our latest video, we explore how image sensors are enabling the next generation of drones, robotics and intelligent machines. And why vision has become one of the most critical technologies driving autonomy. See how onsemi is powering the future of autonomous vision: https://lnkd.in/gE_VyRee

The best gate driver isn't always the most efficient one. Sometimes your design calls for lower EMI. Sometimes it's lower cost. Sometimes it's about maximizing power density. The challenge is knowing which gate driver is the right match for your SiC or GaN switch. That's exactly what onsemi's Elite Pairing Studio was built to solve. In a recent interview with The Component Club, onsemi expert Didier Balocco pulled back the curtain on how the Elite Pairing Studio helps engineers quickly identify the optimal gate driver for their design goals. The tool analyzes every compatible gate driver for your selected SiC or GaN switch, compares key electrical parameters across each pairing and lets you evaluate the tradeoffs before moving into simulation. Stop guessing. Start designing with confidence. Watch the full demo and see how Elite Pairing Studio simplifies gate driver selection: https://lnkd.in/g6y58CQF

Giving back doesn't always look glamorous. Sometimes it looks like a trench, a wheelbarrow of mulch and a full day of work. Our Livonia, Michigan Sales team spent a Friday volunteering with First Step, a nonprofit shelter supporting individuals and families affected by domestic violence and sexual violence. The day covered a long list of hands-on work: deep cleaning agency vehicles, digging a trench and installing a drainage system, weeding the playground, spreading mulch through the gardens and trimming and clearing trees and bushes. It's the kind of work that doesn't always get noticed, but it makes a real difference in creating a welcoming space for the survivors and families First Step serves. Thank you to First Step for the opportunity to give back and to our Livonia team for demonstrating the impact we can make when we work together, both inside and outside the workplace. #weAREonsemi
