This year, we teamed up again with our friends at Sahsen Ventures, LLC (Team Captain Bryan White) to support our partners at Fred Hutch through Obliteride - an inspiring annual bike ride and 5K walk/run that brings people together to help #cure #cancer #faster. OBLITERIDE 2025! This year I went in with 2 goals: 1) raise $500 and 2) beat last year’s 5k time (29:50) 1) still a bit short, but there’s still time to donate! 2) hit a 5k PR of 27:59! I #Obliteride for cancer research, for Grandpa Dunmire who is no longer with us, the countless patients who have been treated at FHCC, and the future patients who will need the life saving novel treatments FHCC will be able to provide with these funds. As a researcher working at Outpace Bio tackling the challenge of CAR-T in solid tumors, Obliteride means a lot to me as I see the impact cancer can have on a community, and the difference new and improved treatments can have on patients.
