In late May, Grower Relations Representative Jeff Quirici walked the blocks at Upper Range and Vangone vineyards assessing fruit set as the 2026 crop started to take shape. "Gently running hands through the clusters post bloom allows you to get a gauge on how fruit set was. We don't want to do it during bloom as they are very delicate during that stage. This vintage is running about two to three weeks ahead of last year. Crop size appears smaller, with smaller clusters, compared to recent years."
