Reflecting on my 12-week internship with Pechaan. I remember joining my first call with the founders, Raveen and Zain, at the very beginning. As an 18-year-old about to graduate high school, I knew I was interested in content creation and marketing—but I didn’t fully understand how it worked in a real-world setting. I was eagerly looking for an internship opportunity where I could work with people who will meet me where I was at and where I could learn the inner workings of marketing within an actual brand, and it quickly became clear that Pechaan would provide that. At the start, I approached content mostly from a visual standpoint—focusing on creating something that looked good without fully understanding the reasoning behind it. Over time, that changed. Through the process of the internship, I began to think more intentionally about content and branding—not just what looks good, but why it works. How each piece of content connects back to identity, positioning, and the overall message of the brand. This experience helped me develop a stronger eye for minimal, high-quality content, and a clearer understanding of what it takes to build something cohesive and meaningful. Looking back, I see now that the most valuable thing I gained from these 12 weeks was the real, hands-on experience—taking ideas, executing them, and contributing to a brand with a clear direction. It’s an opportunity I’m very grateful to have had, and I can tell that the things I’ve learned through it will stick with me as I take my next steps.

This week also marks the end of my internship with Pechaan. Starting in January, I hoped to build more of a portfolio of my creative work as well as my strategic planning skills that I had gained through what I have learned through Christopher Newport University's Communication department and CNU President's Leadership Program, and apply the skills of leadership, planning, organization, and creativity to a real world organization that would help me build up alot of skills, and develop my video editing and management skills further to expand from just making videos, to planning, reaching out to influencers, and being a good team player or leader when I needed to be. Through Pechaan, I refined my work, creativity, and strategy, and in Reuzzi, I took the principles I learned at Pechaan and applied them to Reuzzi. I am very thankful for what Pechaan has done for me in regards to 1:1 conversations on development, supporting me as a human being when at times the weight of my involvement was bearing heavy, as well as continuing to help me excel and be more than just a creator and promoter, but a better leader, and someone who can bring teams together.  I am very appreciative of Pechaan, the CEOs Zain Qureshi and Raveen G. for the opportunity they have given me to learn, think, and communicate. In today’s world of change and innovation, these are the skills we need to further succeed in this world.

  • In the past 12 weeks, I was opportune to be part of the Pechaan, a leading luxury fashion brand Internship Program, which specializes on content creation, brand Identity, and real world digital marketing execution with intentions. During this unforgettable period, I have developed a stronger understanding in the follow area: .Brand alignment through colour, typography, and spacing .Visual storytelling and structured content creation .Project execution from the raw ideas on text to the finishing product by bringing it into visual, storytelling mode that can be related to every day lifestyle. One of the greatest experience for me was learning how to create content that is not just visually appealing to the eyes, but intentional and aligned with a brand’s identity. I also had the opportunity to excute some key projects which include: .Influencer and model outreach, which contribute majorly to brand visibility. .Vendors outreach and communication for campaigns execution and . Over all content creation based on the brand weekly content directions, example includes moodboards designs, and overall visual direction. This experience really shaped me to reason far beyond just content design, give a better understanding of how branding, Identity, marketing, and collaboration come together to build a complete BRAND IDENTITY that lead to best output that aligned with everyday lifestyle. Working on real, practical projects executions helped me developed a strong understanding of giving more attention to detail, advanced my creativity, and build confident in my approach to content creation. I am grateful for the level of experience, growth and finally the opportunity to contribute to a team that values creativity and innovation. I sincerely appreciate Raveen Gillani, GlamourbyRaveen and the entire Pechaan team for the guidance and support throughout this journey. Excited to keep building and applying these skills. ---- Ofonime Johnson #Pechaan #Internship #ContentCreation #Branding #Marketing

Over the past 12 weeks, I’ve been part of the Pechaan Internship Program, where I focused on content creation with a strong emphasis on visual design and branding. Throughout this experience, I developed a stronger understanding of: • creating clean, brand-aligned visuals that maintain consistency • using design as a tool for clear visual communication, not just aesthetics • applying branding fundamentals in practical, real-world projects • leveraging AI tools to support visual ideation and speed up content development I also had the opportunity to contribute to: • a structured weekly content rollout across posts, TikToks, and visual moodboards • influencer outreach and model sourcing as part of content planning • documenting a design process breakdown from concept to final execution in a short-form video format One of the biggest shifts for me was moving from just designing visuals to building content that serves a clear brand purpose. This experience helped me approach design more strategically rather than just creatively. Grateful for the guidance and support from Raveen Gillani and Zain Qureshi throughout this journey. Looking forward to building on what I’ve learned and taking it further. #Pechaan #Internship #ContentCreation #Branding #Marketing
