  • This weekend, join us as we raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation with our very own Natalie Worcester! Whether you ride often or it’s your first time on a bike, all are welcome. Come sweat, connect, and help us jingle all the way toward conquering arthritis!

On July 25, I'll be hosting a Jingle in July indoor cycling ride at Harness Cycle in Ohio City to raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation. For the past four years, I've had the privilege of partnering with the Arthritis Foundation's national team through leadership development work. Along the way, I've come to know so many incredible, mission-driven people and have seen firsthand the organization's commitment to investing in its people to advance a mission that matters. Last year, I was honored to join the Arthritis Foundation's Local Leadership Board, deepening my connection to this important work. Arthritis is the #1 cause of disability in America, impacting millions of adults and children. The Arthritis Foundation is leading the fight to conquer this disease through research, advocacy, resources, and support for those affected. This event is an opportunity to come together as a community, have some fun, and make a meaningful impact. Whether you join us on a bike or support the cause through a donation, every contribution helps move us closer to a future with less pain and more possibility for those living with arthritis. 🔗 Register or donate here: https://luma.com/bmc7a27n Thank you for your support! #JingleInJuly #ArthritisFoundation #Fundraiser #CommunityImpact

  • In her upcoming book, The Gift of Being Fired, Megan Mayhugh explores a topic many people would rather avoid. At People Architects, we see these transitions every day. While losing a job is never easy, we've also seen it become the catalyst for new beginnings, renewed confidence, and careers that are ultimately a better fit. Sometimes the unexpected opportunities can emerge from one of the most difficult moments in a career. If your organization is facing a restructuring or reduction in force and want to support employees with dignity and care, or if you've recently experienced this transition yourself, our specialized Outplacement Service is designed to provide personalized guidance every step of the way. Reach out to Hyle White to have a confidential conversation about your options. https://lnkd.in/gQp3-9QH

Since it's summer, People Architects shared a post about PTO - whether employees are taking it, how it's tracked, and how organizations plan for coverage when people are away. PTO is great, but not if you worry about stuff falling through the cracks while you're gone. And what's the norm for PTO these days anyway - unlimited? These are important questions because employees need time to recharge, yet businesses need continuity and results. How do you both? We can help talk through what works best for you and your company. After spending several days in Yosemite, I'm reminded why both matter. Take the trip. Take the time. Close to home or far away. With family, friends, or by yourself. Standing among waterfalls, El Capitan and Half Dome and looking out over Yosemite National Park, I was reminded how rarely we give ourselves space to slow down, think, and simply be present. The value of PTO isn't just the time away. It's who you become when you return. You come back with fresh perspective. More energy. More patience. More gratitude, especially for your colleagues who held down the fort! Some of our best thinking doesn't happen when we're working harder - it happens when we step away long enough to recharge. So, take the trip. Take the hike. Watch the sunset. Make the memories. Then come back renewed and ready for what's next. Yosemite was a powerful reminder of that for me. Happy to talk to you about having a smart PTO plan!

  • It's summer! 🌞 That means long sunny days, family vacations, and hopefully some actual time to unplug. We all know our people deserve time to rest and recharge. But here are a few things are worth keeping an eye on as we head into these warmer months (and year round!):  - How are you tracking PTO?  - Are people actually taking it? (Unused PTO is a cultural AND financial liability)  - Do you have a coverage plan for when someone is out? Who does that work while they’re gone? Are you asking the same questions? We’re here to help you think it through. Reach out to Hyle White

  • We're growing!!! Know anyone interested in HR consulting? send our way: meg@peoplearchitects.io

Exciting news!!! People Architects is growing and we are growing our team! People Architects is looking for an HR Consultant based in Northeast Ohio. We need someone who can step in as a trusted advisor to our clients and help with the real HR work — compliance, employee relations, talent, culture, leadership coaching, and all the things that don’t fit neatly into one bucket. The right person knows HR, knows how to read the room, and knows how to meet clients where they are. Ideally, you have at least 5 years of HR consulting experience and understand the Northeast Ohio business community. Here’s the good news: we’re open on structure. Full-time, part-time, contractor — let’s talk. If you’re looking for meaningful HR work with some flexibility and a great team behind you, this could be a really good fit. Interested or know someone who would be an excellent HR Consultant? Even if you think maybe down the road, would love to talk! Send them my way: meg@peoplearchitects.io.
