Mike Keegan, who retired last year after 31 years with M&T Bank, was appointed to the board of Colonie-based Pioneer's parent company earlier this week, according to a regulatory filing."

Pioneer was proud to host New York State Senator James Sanders Jr., Chair of the Senate Committee on Banks, as the Albany stop on his Upstate New York Banks Tour. Leaders from community banks, credit unions, and the financial services industry across the region gathered to discuss the evolving needs of New York communities and the role financial institutions play in supporting individuals, families, and businesses. Twenty years ago, Pioneer had the opportunity to support Phinney Design Group as it established its roots in Saratoga Springs. Today, we're proud to support the firm's next chapter as it builds a new headquarters in downtown Troy. At the 504 Broadway topping off ceremony, Jenifer Marten, Vice President and Business Banking Team Leader, spoke about the vision behind the project and how its innovative design, sustainability features, and community focus will help shape downtown Troy's future. The ceremony concluded with project partners signing a mass timber beam before it was raised into place, symbolizing the collaboration behind this exciting project. Founded in Troy in 1889, Pioneer is proud to support projects that strengthen our communities and help move them forward.

We welcomed 16 local high school students to Headquarters for High School Experience Day this week! Throughout the day, students connected with Pioneer leadership, explored a variety of career paths across our organization, and took part in an interactive Career Paths Escape Room. They also learned about the importance of community involvement and helped assemble school supply pouches for our upcoming School Supply Drive. We hope the experience highlighted the many opportunities to build a career and give back right here in our community.
