Most people walk past a finished stucco wall and have no idea what went into it. Here's the full process in 40 seconds. ⬇️ Day 1 — Rapid Guard Gold Coat is applied directly to the substrate. This is the bonding layer everything else depends on. Day 2 — Wire lath is fastened over the Gold Coat, giving the system its structural backbone. Day 3 — Two passes of EIFS base coat are applied over the wire lath, embedding it fully and building up the wall thickness. Day 4 — Stucco finish coat is applied and textured.
