Manufacturing is the most critical component of supply chains in process manufacturing industries like Bio-manufacturing, CPG, and speciality chemicals. Supply commitments made based on static demand<>production planning processes are the root cause of unreliable supply chains that impact not only the bottom line, but also brand and company reputation in serious ways. Yet, we find that real-time intelligence about the true production capacity - current, and predictable - does not adequately link to supply chain planning: a big missed opportunity. OEE is often used as a signal from manufacturing about production capacity, but for process manufacturing, it is the wrong signal. In this article, Quartic CEO, Rajiv Anand explores why. https://lnkd.in/gZt5ewM4

The Quartic team is at APACT this week in Glasgow and it’s always great to see our customers present at conferences! Juan G. Rosas PhD. of Organon presented the innovative work they are doing in partnership with Quartic and demonstrated how companies can work together internally to best deliver organizational results that align with key stakeholders from the business, OT, & IT. Organon began by deploying Quartic's modern DataOps platform to unify IT & OT data and create enterprise data context. This operationalized the real-time data from their AVEVA PI System and the discrete and transactional MES, LIMS, PAT, & SAP data currently stored in their Snowflake cloud. This DataOps foundation is accelerating their deployment of Quartic's advanced analytics applications for Statistical Process Control, Online Multivariate Data Analysis, & Product Genealogy. These applications have greatly reduced manual data wrangling effort and democratized advanced analytics insights to a broader set of operational roles across manufacturing thereby helping drive towards improving yield & reducing waste. Congrats Juan G. Rosas PhD., Daria Stoliarskaia, & Marija Minevska and thank you for the continued collaboration and partnership to constantly innovate together as a team!

#BioprocessingSummit2025 by Cambridge Healthtech Institute gave us the stage to address what’s broken - and what’s next - in chromatography analytics. In his session, our Customer Success Engineer, Manuel Tejeda, spotlighted a challenge every biomanufacturing team knows: chromatography operations generate rich data — but insight comes too late. We showed how #QuarticDataOps and #BatchMVDA changes that by delivering contextualized analytics across SCADA, MES, LIMS and ERP — without rebuilding data infrastructure. 1) Detect column degradation before it impacts yield 2) Uncover buffer mixing and conductivity issues mid-batch 3) Enable SPC and MVDA that works in real-time, not post-run Curious how this looks in your chromatography environment? Is your chromatography data stuck in silos? Join us at #BioprocessingSummit2025 as Manuel Tejeda, Customer Success Engineer at Quartic.ai, presents on: - Accelerating Chromatography Analytics with Data Contextualization and MVDA - Program: Digital Transformation & AI in Bioprocess: Into the Digital Future - August 20 | 9:45 AM EDT - Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, Boston, MA + Virtual This session explores how real-time contextualisation across SCADA, MES, ERP, and LIMS enables: 1) Early detection of column degradation 2) Diagnosis of conductivity shifts 3) MVDA-based yield optimisation 4) Proactive process monitoring - not just root cause hunting If you care about yield, column performance, or lab-to-process integration - don’t miss it. #MVDA #Chromatography #Bioprocessing #IndustrialDataOps #ManufacturingAnalytics #PharmaManufacturing

Everyone’s chasing IT-OT convergence. The technology’s ready - but is the mindset? In the latest from the Quartic Podcast, Chris Demers, Ph.D. and Rajiv Anand break down what really stalls IT-OT integration - even when the tools are in place. You’ll hear: 1) Why IT and OT don’t just run on different timelines — they optimize for different outcomes 2) Why convergence starts with shared context, not shared infrastructure 3) How mindset gaps derail even well-funded digital initiatives If you're navigating legacy systems, stranded data, or digital pilots that seem hard to scale - this one’s for you.
