As we close out FY26, we're celebrating what can happen when a community comes together to volunteer and support children with special needs and their families. This year, together we achieved: • 966 volunteers — a 58.1% increase over FY25  • 3,059 volunteer hours — a 12.5% increase  • $102,446 in volunteer impact — a 12.5% increase  • 39 corporate and community partners, including 10 new partners  • More than 6,400 community members reached through outreach efforts These numbers represent people who gave their time, talents, and hearts to make a difference. Every volunteer project, community presentation, corporate partnership, and outreach event helped connect more children and families with the services and support they need. Thank you to our volunteers, community partners, donors, board members, and dedicated staff for making FY26 one of our strongest years yet. We are thrilled to announce that Rainbows United has received a $110,000 grant from the James M. Cox Foundation, the charitable arm of Cox Enterprises, parent company of Cox Communications This gift will help create state-of-the-art learning environments while allowing our team to spend more time doing what they do best—supporting children and families. The grant will help us: >Modernize classrooms with smart technology >Expand adaptive technology to support communication and learning >Implement social-emotional learning tools that strengthen kindergarten readiness >Upgrade technology infrastructure and provide staff training Thank you to the James M. Cox Foundation for this gift and Cox Communications for partnering with us to create brighter futures for children of all abilities.

A big thank you to the incredible Textron Aviation interns for spending time with us at Rainbows United! The interns jumped right in by helping with the Envision Art Show which opens Friday, ensuring everything was ready to celebrate the amazing creativity of the children we serve. They also spent time in our classrooms, reading, playing, creating, and building meaningful connections with our students. Thank you for sharing your time, energy, and enthusiasm with our children. Your kindness helped create a day filled with smiles, encouragement, and unforgettable moments. We are so grateful for your partnership and your commitment to making a difference in our community!

We celebrated our incredible Rainbows Academy graduates as they completed an amazing year full of learning, growth, curiosity and discovery. At Rainbows Academy, children of all abilities learn and grow together in an inclusive environment designed to help every child feel confident, supported and seen.
