Remove 95% of CVEs automatically with no code change
About us
RapidFort, Inc. is a leading software supply chain security company that provides an innovative platform designed to automatically secure container applications and accelerate compliance processes. The company's comprehensive solution addresses critical cybersecurity challenges by removing up to 95% of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) from container images without requiring any code changes. RapidFort's unified platform offers three core capabilities: curated near-zero CVE container images with FIPS 140-3 validation and daily builds, DevTime protection tools that generate Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and Real Bill of Materials (RBOM) for vulnerability remediation, and RunTime protection that automatically secures unused components and reduces software attack surfaces by 60-90%. The platform serves organizations seeking to reduce development costs by 10%, accelerate software releases by 2-3 weeks, and achieve faster compliance with FedRAMP, cATO, CMMC, and SOC2 standards. RapidFort's solution integrates seamlessly with existing development workflows and technology stacks, consuming less than 1% system overhead while providing comprehensive security hardening. Trusted by government agencies including the U.S. Air Force and Space Force, as well as enterprise customers, RapidFort addresses the growing challenge of software supply chain security by eliminating "zombie code" – the 50-90% of unused software components that create unnecessary security risks. The company's approach enables organizations to spend more time building products rather than maintaining and updating dormant code, ultimately strengthening security posture while improving operational efficiency.

Think your RedHat UBI9 base image is secure by default? The CVE count says otherwise. In a recent customer trial, we scanned 8 RedHat UBI9 images already running in production and compared them to their RapidFort-curated equivalents. Total known CVEs dropped 93.3% – from 1,621 down to 108 – and every high-severity finding was eliminated entirely, consistently across Python, Node, and multiple JDK/JRE variants. Same functional image. A fraction of the exposure. This is real customer data, not a lab benchmark. 📊 See the full before/after breakdown: https://lnkd.in/g3bYXMNU #RapidFort #SoftwareSupplyChainSecurity #ContainerSecurity #CVE #RedHat #DevSecOps

Building container images with Bazel? RapidFort has introduced a more secure way to build them. Our Solutions Architect, Jacob Mammoliti, has released rules_rapidfort_deb, a new Bazel ruleset for building secure, minimal, and reproducible container images on deb-based Linux distributions. The ruleset prioritizes patched software provided by RapidFort, helping teams reduce vulnerability exposure from the start. Already using rules_distroless? rules_rapidfort_deb can act as a drop-in replacement in your Bazel configuration. 📖 Read the full breakdown and get started: https://lnkd.in/gJ9XcYds #RapidFort #SoftwareSupplyChainSecurity #Bazel #DevSecOps #ContainerSecurity #OpenSource

35,000+ container images. Near-zero CVEs. Zero code changes. Most teams don't need to build hardened base images from scratch – they need a shortcut that doesn't cut corners. RapidFort's Curated Images give you production-grade containers across Alpine, Debian, Red Hat, and Ubuntu, hardened to STIG/CIS benchmarks, with CVEs eliminated continuously. Swap your base image. Keep your CI/CD. Skip the manual hardening. Explore Curated Images: https://lnkd.in/gs3zxYWX #RapidFort #SoftwareSupplyChainSecurity #CuratedImages #ContainerSecurity #OpenSource #DevSecOps

RapidFort's George Manuelian, CRO and co-founder, breaks down why AI has flipped the vulnerability management timeline – discovery isn't the bottleneck anymore. Remediation is.

2 hours vs. 2 weeks. That's the new math in vulnerability management. AI-driven attackers can find and exploit a flaw in about two hours. Meanwhile, most enterprise patch cycles still take weeks. Discovery isn't the hard part of vulnerability management anymore. It's closing that gap before someone else does. RapidFort's free Mythos Vulnerability Readiness Assessment shows you exactly where you're exposed – no code changes, results in minutes. https://lnkd.in/ezgAmY_T #RapidFort #SoftwareSupplyChainSecurity #Mythos #DevOps #ContainerSecurity

Most containers are carrying software they'll never execute. Yet every extra package gets scanned. Every package can introduce CVEs. Every package expands your attack surface. Distroless images solve that. RapidFort Curated Distroless Images solve that. The challenge isn't adopting distroless. It's knowing where to start. We break the migration into a few simple, production-ready steps, so you can adopt RapidFort Curated Distroless Images with confidence.
