Rebound Behavioral Health employs a number of professionals that are committed to offering only the most clinically excellent care possible. The team at Rebound consists of a board-certified psychiatrist, psychiatric and substance abuse nurses, substance abuse counselors, licensed social workers, recreational/expressive therapists, and behavioral health technicians. All employees at Rebound are experienced in their fields of study and are compassionate about the care they provide. While a short-term facility, Rebound does offer inpatient treatment, detox services, and outpatient care. Through those programming options, patients who grapple with the following mental and behavioral health concerns can obtain effective treatment: • Depression • Late-onset depression • Anxiety • Bipolar disorder • Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) • Psychosis • Dual diagnosis and co-occurring disorders Also, Rebound is effective in providing care for the following substance abuse problems: • Alcohol • Heroin • Prescription drugs • Opioids In order to affect positive change in the patients who come to Rebound Behavioral Health, specific treatment modalities are introduced. Women Veterans were honored today as Sumter County Veterans Affairs hosted Women Veterans Appreciation Day with a luncheon and program at the Sumter County Courthouse. Sumter County Veterans Affairs Director Valerie Brunson welcomed the crowd before Pastor Gwen Parker offered a prayer. Shaw Air Force Base’s 20th Fighter Wing Honor Guard presented the Colors before the Pledge of Allegiance, and Tech. Sgt. Jeannie Toro sang the National Anthem. Tech. Sgt. (Ret.) Gwen Cofield sang a solo before Sumter Fire Department Lt. Selena Ruth Smith, a Navy Veteran, delivered the keynote address.
