Healthcare runs on people. The systems supporting them don’t. Worki has built the AI workforce layer that connects what’s fragmented and helps the people inside healthcare evolve alongside the technology reshaping their work. Today’s announcement with Tanner Health marks an exciting step in bringing that vision into practice. Huge congratulations to the Worki.ai team on this milestone!
AI should not replace the workforce. It should help amplify it. Today, Worki AI and Tanner Health announced a collaboration focused on helping existing healthcare employees grow, upskill, and navigate clearer career pathways through AI-powered Career Amplifiers. Humans remain the conductor. Worki helps unify fragmented workforce systems, reduce operational friction, and support employees with AI-powered guidance while keeping people at the center of decision making. The future of healthcare workforce transformation is not humans vs AI. It’s humans and AI working together to create stronger organizations, better employee experiences, and more connected workforce pathways. We’re thrilled to share that Redesign Health portfolio company Anomaly has announced $17M in new funding led by Sound Ventures. Huge congratulations to Mike Desjadon, Jon Hoffman, and the entire team on this exciting milestone. Healthcare revenue teams have spent years operating reactively because payers have historically held the information advantage. Anomaly is building the intelligence layer to change that. By helping providers understand and respond to payer behavior in real time, Anomaly is bringing greater transparency, predictability, and accountability to one of healthcare’s biggest black boxes. We’re proud to have backed the company from the early days and excited to see what comes next.
𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 $𝟭𝟳𝗠 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 led by Sound Ventures, with participation from Alumni Ventures. Providers have never had access to the same quality of intelligence that governs payer decisions. That gap plays out in every claim submission, every contract negotiation, every conversation between a provider and the payer that pays them. Anomaly was built to close it. Anomaly is deployed across 20+ health systems. To date, the platform has recovered tens of millions in provider revenue and produced measurable changes in payer behavior. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey thus far. More to come. What does it take to build a healthcare company that wins in Saudi Arabia? That was the question on the table this week at the MNGHA National Experimental Sandbox, where Khalid AlMoaikel, MBA, MS, PhD and Elias Tsikhlakis led a working session on go-to-market, sustainability, and customer acquisition for founders building in the Kingdom. The healthcare innovation happening here is some of the most ambitious in the world. Through our partnership with Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA) and MonshaatSA, we're proud to stand alongside the institutions and entrepreneurs writing what's next.

A third of every healthcare dollar goes to administrative waste, and AI is finally in a position to do something about it. But the real question isn't whether that happens, it's who captures the value when it does. That's what our Head of Ventures, Neil Patel, discusses with Firas Sozan on a recent episode of Inside the Silicon Mind: how the clinician workforce evolves, what a hospital actually looks like in five years, and where he'd put $10M to work in healthcare AI today if he were starting from zero. Worth a listen if you’re paying attention to where healthcare is headed next. Listen to the full episode on Inside the Silicon Mind.
Today we’re releasing a conversation I think is highly relevant for anyone thinking seriously about the future of healthcare. Neil Patel (Redesign Health) makes a compelling case that the most overlooked change in healthcare is not some distant possibility - it’s already coming into focus now through AI, workflow automation, and a shift in how care gets delivered. We talk about: - Why administrative waste remains such a huge opportunity, - How AI could improve consistency and quality of care, why the future of healthcare may move more toward the home, - And what this means for doctors, patients, and the broader system. What stood out to me most is that this isn’t just a conversation about technology. It’s really about how healthcare can become more efficient, more accessible, and ultimately more human. If you’re building in healthcare, investing in healthcare, or simply trying to understand where AI is taking the sector, I’d encourage you to watch this one. EPISODE OUT NOW - LINK IN COMMENTS!

Care management is one of the highest-leverage functions in healthcare, and one of the most broken. Care managers are drowning in administrative work. Patients fall out of programs because no one follows up in time. The systems meant to help have only added complexity: rigid workflows, fragmented tools, and a stack of vendors that don't quite fit together. Healthcare AI keeps advancing, but the real barrier to adoption is control. Most solutions still layer on top of the same broken model. Gravity Rail takes a different approach, letting the people closest to the work shape how it gets done. Instead of prescribing workflows, it allows care teams to design and run their own patient engagement systems using natural language. The result is engagement that scales without losing the human element that makes it work. That's why Redesign Health is leading Gravity Rail's $2.75M seed round, backing two founders with a track record at global scale now pointed at a problem they know firsthand: Daniel Walmsley - built air traffic control infrastructure out of college, then the operating system behind 40%+ of U.S. political campaigns (NationBuilder). Former Principal Architect for AI at Automattic. Obsessed with one idea: give the operator control. Scott Hoch - is a physicist turned builder. PhD from Yale measuring phenomena at the edge of what's observable. Built production systems across healthcare and AI that are still running years later. Known for turning ambiguous problems into working systems overnight. Healthcare operators are becoming builders. The platforms that enable that will define the next generation of care delivery. Gravity Rail is the first one we've seen that gets it right, and we're proud to back Dan and Scott. Redesign Health reposted this
This past week, we wrapped the first-ever Redesign Spark cohort, closing out with final presentations to our Investment Committee. Eight back-to-back pitches spanning clinical trial infrastructure, care navigation, site activation, AI-enabled marketing for health systems, and more. Each was grounded in real customer discovery, early prototypes, and a clear point of view on where AI can drive meaningful change in healthcare. In just five weeks, 10 remarkable Spark fellows went from −1 to 0, developing, pressure-testing, and pitching healthcare startup ideas from scratch. The next generation of healthcare companies will come from a different kind of builder. People who move faster, test earlier, and think differently about how the system should work. Too many great builders never take the leap, and too many ideas never get a real shot. Spark was built to change that. If you are an early-career, AI-native builder ready to jump into healthcare entrepreneurship, follow us to stay tuned for the next Redesign Spark cohort. Check out more here: https://lnkd.in/exFgVqj5

Redesign Health is proud to be a partner in the National Healthcare Artificial Intelligence Sandbox, launched by Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA) in collaboration with MonshaatSA and a network of national partners. AI in healthcare is not a future concept. The challenge now is how to test, validate, and deploy it in real clinical environments safely and at scale. This is what makes such efforts so important. We are excited to contribute to this initiative and support the builders and ideas it brings forward.
