Say hello to Austin Zhang, Reflexive's very first summer intern! Austin is an AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter scholarship recipient and an incoming sophomore at Indiana University. He's been spending the summer building the next iteration of Reflexive's internal platforms and tools. His work supports our final push toward a suite of flexible business applications hosted on a FedRAMP High cloud infrastructure -- an effort that plays an important role for both our engineers and back-office team. Outside of school & work, Austin enjoys riding his bike, playing tennis, and working on innovative side projects. We have loved having Austin on the team this summer, and can't wait to see all the things he continues to accomplish! 

Earlier this month, Reflexive Concepts had a blast at the Annual IC4 #MiniGolf4Good tournament. It wasn't officially the summer season just yet, but the sun definitely came out to play! 🔥☀️ No complaints from our crew; we're always grateful for the opportunity to sponsor such a fun and fantastic event in support of an incredibly important mission like The Headstrong Project. 📢🎉We're excited to welcome Kaitlyn Mendez to Reflexive Concepts! Katie joined the back-office team last month as our Workforce & Staffing Administrator and will play a key role in providing top-tier staffing support for RC engineers, our Prime partners, and the missions we serve. Originally from Ohio, Katie followed her husband's military orders to Maryland. ⚓🦀 She spends her time out on the water in Annapolis, playing with her fur-babies, or diving into home projects. She brings a genuine passion for learning and growth, as well as a natural ability to connect with people. We're thrilled to have her on board at RC!

It isn't often someone leaves Reflexive. On the one hand, that's attributable to luck; on the other, we know we've built an 'employee roster' that goes beyond just names. But as RC has grown, one name on that roster began to reign over others, accounting for more than 10% of the company: Kevin. Before we knew it, 'Kevflexive' had properly taken form; they even allowed admission (yet controversial) for honorary 'Kevins', like the 'Devons' and 'Evans' of RC. So, when a founding member of the group made the tough decision to accept another opportunity, we couldn't miss the chance to give our friend a proper send-off.
