  • The Reynolds Operations Center (ROC) campus in Tobaccoville, NC, is more than just a bustling workplace. It's also buzzing with activity from beehives that support pollinators and thriving ecosystems. Our Operations Sustainability team recently gave employees a closer look at the beehives and buzzing pollinators that support agriculture and local ecosystems. Through hive tours, employees had the opportunity to learn something new while connecting with colleagues from across the site. The experience brought employees together while highlighting one of the many things that makes our campus unique. By creating opportunities for employees to learn, connect, and engage, we're Growing Community. And sometimes, Growing Community can be pretty sweet.

  • Behind every strong community are the individuals who step up when they're needed most. Reynolds American has once again joined the convenience industry in celebrating the eighth annual 24/7 Day and helping to “Serve Up Thanks” to the everyday heroes who keep communities running around the clock. From first responders and EMTs to doctors, nurses, 9-1-1 professionals, and American Red Cross volunteers, this nationwide initiative honors those whose dedication is felt in communities across the country. As some of the only businesses that are open day and night, convenience stores have a unique perspective on the impact first responders make every day. In recognition of their service, we are honored to contribute to this industry-wide effort and join hundreds of convenience retailing companies and brands in expressing gratitude for first responders and Red Cross volunteers nationwide. Supporting those who strengthen our communities is just one way we're Growing Community. Learn more about today’s 24/7 Day in CSP Daily News: https://lnkd.in/eVRWDtPD

  • From coast to coast, Reynolds American employees rolled up their sleeves to support the communities they call home by participating in Keep America Beautiful®'s Greatest American Cleanup. These volunteer efforts helped beautify public spaces ahead of America 250 celebrations taking place across the country, while supporting Keep America Beautiful's mission to build stronger, greener communities that can shine well beyond our nation's 250th birthday.   More than 25 employee teams helped clean parks, trails, neighborhoods, and shared spaces, collecting more than 290 bags of litter along the way. Through these efforts, our teams are bringing our Growing Community pillar to life and making a visible difference where they live and work.   Great work to all the Reynolds American teams that participated!

  • Reynolds American has once again been recognized by the Triad Business Journal as one of the Triad's largest employers, earning the No. 23 spot out of 199 companies and climbing seven places from last year's ranking after adding approximately 650 local employees. • North Carolina's No. 2 ranking in CNBC's Top States for Business underscores why companies continue to invest here: a strong workforce, a thriving business environment, and a commitment to economic growth.   At Reynolds American, we're contributing to that momentum by Growing Careers, fueling innovation, and investing in employees who drive our success. • We got a fresh new look! Our downtown Winston-Salem headquarters is shining brighter with a new exterior lighting system and updated Reynolds American rooftop sign, the first refresh to the building’s rooftop signage in a decade. Swipe through to see the building's newest look and a look back at every rooftop sign that has topped the skyline over the years. The building has been part of the city skyline since 1982. Completed adjacent to the original 1929 R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company Building (now the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel), it has served as the headquarters of R.J Reynolds Tobacco Company and its parent company Reynolds American since 2009. As one of Winston-Salem’s longest-standing employers, these visible updates reflect our continued investment in our hometown and commitment to shaping the community’s future as we continue Growing Tomorrow. • At Reynolds American, employee safety and wellbeing remains a top priority. That's why we're honored to be recognized by the NC Department of Labor (NCDOL) with five Gold Safety Awards and two Million-Hour Awards for our Winston-Salem area facilities. NCDOL's Safety Awards Program recognizes organizations across the state that achieve and maintain outstanding workplace safety records, promoting accident prevention and celebrating teams that help create safe and healthy work environments. These awards reflect the dedication of employees across multiple functions who work every day to uphold safety standards at our downtown headquarters, Reynolds Operations Center, and Bowman Gray Technical Center. Representatives from these teams recently traveled to Greensboro to accept the awards in person during NCDOL's annual ceremony. This recognition is a testament to how we are Growing Responsibly and reinforces our commitment to making employee safety a key part of our culture. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this achievement!
