Wonderful to see PCP and the City of Woodland showing some love to it’s ag and food processing roots! What a great example of a public/private partnership! Worthy of replicating along Hwy 99 thru the Central Valley
Excited to share this one! 🌟 This water tower mural at Pacific Coast Producers’ tomato plant in Woodland, CA, was one of my favorite projects to date. The facility is fairly industrial, so we set out to give it some visual character — the result is a massive, vintage-style can of tomatoes that now anchors the site. I designed and illustrated the mural, and Sacramento-based mural painter Jeremy Stanger brought it to life (with rattle cans!) on the tower itself. Together we turned a utilitarian structure into a permanent piece of public art that speaks to both PCP’s business and history and Woodland’s agricultural roots. This is the fifth mural I’ve done for PCP’s facilities across Northern California and Oregon, and the community response has been wonderful every time. In a field where so much design work is temporary, it means a lot to create something that becomes part of a town’s landscape for good. So much gratitude and thanks to everyone at PCP for continuing to trust me with these projects, and to Jeremy for his incredible craftsmanship in execution. #Art #Mural #Design #Community #Agriculture #PacificCoastProducers #PcoastP #WoodlandCA Pacific Coast Producers Tami Iverson Andy Russick Beau St. Germain Adam Sroufe Regina Newkirk

Manufacturing Builds Global Connections As a lifelong student of international politics, I've always believed that building stronger relationships between nations begins by opening our doors—and our minds—to people from around the world. While governments establish policy, it is often individuals, businesses, and communities that build lasting understanding and trust. On July 29, the Sacramento Valley Manufacturing Alliance -SVMA Valley Manufacturing Alliance (SVMA) was proud to partner with Roseville Precision, Inc., Global Ties Sacramento, and the Freedom 250 International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) to host a delegation of international visitors as part of the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program. The visit highlighted how entrepreneurship, innovation, and advanced manufacturing are thriving here in the Sacramento region. Our guests toured Roseville Precision's impressive facility, learned about cutting-edge precision manufacturing technologies, and heard firsthand how local manufacturers compete successfully in today's global economy. Manufacturing is about far more than producing products. It creates rewarding careers, drives innovation, strengthens local communities, and builds relationships that extend well beyond our borders. Programs like the IVLP foster meaningful dialogue, encourage the exchange of ideas, and remind us that while our cultures and perspectives may differ, we often share many of the same aspirations—creating opportunities, solving problems, and improving the lives of our communities. A sincere thank you to Derek Sanchez and Ted P. (Perry) of Roseville Precision, Inc. for graciously opening their doors and sharing RPI's expertise, and to Global Ties Sacramento for coordinating this outstanding international exchange. These experiences strengthen not only our regional manufacturing ecosystem but also the people-to-people connections that contribute to greater international understanding. SVMA is honored to showcase the Sacramento region as a center for advanced manufacturing excellence and to support partnerships that strengthen both our local economy and our global relationships. A special thanks to Tamara S. (Sartanian) for facilitating the tour and Global Ties Sacramento Communications Director, Adelina Trionfo. Last, a special thanks to our guests Mauricio Rocha Orgáz from Bolivia, Yaser Awan from Pakistan, Ergin Esendemir from Turkey and Shobdulamon Saidkarimov from Tajikistan. #Manufacturing #SVMA #AdvancedManufacturing #GlobalTiesSacramento #IVLP #USDepartmentofState #Entrepreneurship #EconomicDevelopment #MadeInAmerica #ManufacturingMatters #InternationalPartnerships #RosevillePrecision #SacramentoRegion #ManufacturingLeadership
