🩸 Could a simple blood test predict Alzheimer's years before symptoms appear? New research presented at AAIC 2026 found that a blood biomarker may help identify Alzheimer's risk up to 10 years before memory problems begin. While this test isn't yet available for routine medical use, these findings offer hope for earlier detection, future prevention, and more effective treatment before symptoms start. 💜 Early research. Real hope. A brighter future for Alzheimer's care. #AAIC26 #AlzheimersAwareness #BrainHealth #SeniorCare #HealthyAging #Research #Hope

Senior Care Only Better
About us
About Senior Helpers is the premiere provider of in-home care for seniors in the country. We are the only in-home care company that uses a comprehensive client assessment tool, Life Profile, that is based on 20 years of research into what causes senior to become hospitalized or have to move out of their own home. The data generated by the Life Profile assessment allows us to make a better, more specific, and individualized care plan that provides better instructions to the caregivers and the family. The result of that SmartCare Plan is a better outcome for your loved one, reducing hospitalizations and greatly extending the time they can stay in their own home safely and happily, and with a better quality of life.

🗒 A Message from Steven: A couple of weeks ago, we had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., as part of the Alzheimer's Impact Movement (AIM) Advocacy Forum. During our time on Capitol Hill, we met with Tony Tran, Senior Legislative Assistant to Representative Derek Tran, who represents California's 45th Congressional District in Southern California. The meeting began with Dr. Wilcox introducing the group and providing a brief overview of our mission and advocacy efforts on behalf of individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Tony was extremely welcoming, engaged, and receptive to our discussion. He shared his personal experience caring for a loved one and expressed that this cause is very close to his heart. His openness and understanding helped create a meaningful and productive conversation. During the meeting, I thanked Tony and asked him to convey our appreciation to Representative Tran for co-sponsoring the ADDAPT Act. Aanya and her mother, Drakes, spoke passionately about their family's journey with Alzheimer's, sharing the impact the disease has had on Aanya's grandfather and Drakes' husband. They respectfully requested Representative Tran's support in co-sponsoring the ASAP Act. The meeting served as a powerful reminder of the importance of sharing personal stories and working collaboratively with policymakers to advance Alzheimer's care, support, and research. 💜 💜 💜 #ENDALZ #ENDALZOC #AIMAdvocacyForum #Alzheimers #Advocacy #PublicPolicy #Leadership #AlzForum #ASAPAct #alzforum #ASAPAct #AlzheimersAwareness #AdvocacyInAction #EarlyDetectionMatters
