#DYK that #ElizabethSetonChildrens has an outpatient rehabilitation clinic located in White Plains? #ElizabethSetonChildrensRehabilitationCenter is a pediatric diagnostic and treatment center providing comprehensive medical and rehabilitative services to children and young adults with complex physical and developmental disabilities. Services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, feeding therapy and aquatic therapy, as well as medical specialties, brace/orthotic and adaptive equipment clinics and psychological, social work and Care at Home case management services. Today, our rehabilitation center cares for over 2,000 patients each year - helping these young people reach their greatest potential and also providing support for their families. Our 18th annual #prom brought together #ElizabethSetonChildrensCenter’s extraordinary teens and young adults , along with their families and caregivers, for an unforgettable celebration where every promgoer was truly the star of the show. From dancing and live performances to photo opportunities and delicious treats generously provided by our Dunkin’ partners, the afternoon was filled with joy, laughter and memories that will last a lifetime. Jan Pascual has been working as an occupational therapist at #ElizabethSetonChildrensSchool in White Plains for 15 years. Here’s what she loves most about her career. “As our Sensory Integration Coordinator, I help support students’ sensory processing needs so they can participate successfully in the classroom. A child’s “occupation” is to play … it’s how they learn!” For Jan, helping young children build the skills that will shape their future is both a privilege and a passion. “Preschool age is a critical stage of development and early childhood is when many foundational skills - such as fine motor abilities, self-care skills and social participation - emerge.
