Jan Pascual has been working as an occupational therapist at #ElizabethSetonChildrensSchool in White Plains for 15 years. Here’s what she loves most about her career. “As our Sensory Integration Coordinator, I help support students’ sensory processing needs so they can participate successfully in the classroom. A child’s “occupation” is to play … it’s how they learn!” For Jan, helping young children build the skills that will shape their future is both a privilege and a passion. “Preschool age is a critical stage of development and early childhood is when many foundational skills - such as fine motor abilities, self-care skills and social participation - emerge. It’s the most rewarding experience that I can be a small part of my students’ learning journeys and help them grow.” Find a career where you can make a lasting impact every day.
