This week, members of our SG team spent the evening supporting our Empowering Hope initiative by volunteering at Shepherd Center's Patient & Family Dinner, helping serve meals to over 125 patients and their families during their rehabilitation journey. Atlanta is about to get a new destination for adventure, entertainment, and family fun! 🎢🤩 Thrillz Atlanta has transformed a former film production facility into a one-of-a-kind indoor experience featuring more than 20 attractions, including zip lines, interactive climbing walls, trampolines, obstacle courses, duckpin bowling, arcade games, a jungle-themed laser tag arena, and immersive virtual reality experiences. The 56,000-square-foot facility also includes a 10,000-square-foot soft play area, dedicated toddler zone, food service amenities, and party spaces designed to create memorable experiences for guests of all ages. From the early stages of construction to seeing the final details come together, it has been exciting to watch this unique space take shape. This past Saturday, members of our team spent the morning volunteering at the new Global Village Project school in Decatur, Georgia, helping prepare the campus for the arrival of its students!! Starting bright and early at 8 a.m., our team rolled up their sleeves to remove old landscaping, mow overgrown grass, plant new greenery, and spread pine straw to help create a welcoming environment ahead of the girls' first day in their new school. The Global Village Project continues to make a remarkable impact by empowering refugee girls through education, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that is changing lives right here in our community. We'd also like to extend a special thank you to Russell Landscape Group for generously donating the majority of the plant materials used during the volunteer day!
