At Shipt, we aspire to a future where access to fresh, nutritious food is accessible, regardless of zip code. Our LadderUp 8-week accelerator program focuses on supporting grassroots organizations through mentorship, education and financial support. This month, 10 outstanding organizations nationwide completed the program, with each graduate receiving a $5,000 grant to fuel their mission. While we’re cheering on our entire national cohort, the Shipt team hit the road and traveled up to Michigan to celebrate with five of those local fresh-food nonprofits in person. Local lawmakers joined Shipt for the on-site presentations to help celebrate these community champions. We are proud to highlight the Michigan organizations we visited who are utilizing these grants to support their neighborhoods: - E. Warren Farmers Market, Detroit - Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation, Detroit - Growing Hope, Ypsilanti - Hope Village Farmers Market, Detroit - Detroit People's Food Co-op, Ann Arbor By investing directly in the local organizations that know their neighborhoods best, we can build communities where fresh food is accessible.

Reflecting on an incredible week of growth at Shipt! Last month, we hosted our annual Development Week 2026, where team members came together for an entire week of learning. This year’s focus: Developing our AI fluency. Team members were charged with moving from using AI as just a "tool of efficiency” to embracing it as a strategic thought partner. Highlights of the week included: - Hands-on Building: Workshops on crafting Gems in Gemini - Agile Leadership: Learning to lead through complexity with experiments - Information Mastery: Turning mountains of PDFs into instant insights with NotebookLM - Skills For The Future: Identifying the 5 "Gold Skills" (Discernment, Connection, Adaptability, Literacy and Orchestration) for working with AI The most inspiring part? The conversation hasn't stopped. Team members walked away with new skills, and our shared Slack channel grew by 15% and continues to be a hub for peer-learning, AI wins, fails and experimenting. In an era of rapid change, we believe the best way to support our team isn't just by providing the tools, but by investing in the fluency to master them. At Shipt, we’re not just watching the future happen — we’re making sure our people have the skills to lead it.

With nearly 1 in 7 households across the country experiencing food insecurity, the need for access to fresh, reliable, nutritious food has always been crucial. That’s why Shipt’s Community Impact grants focus on supporting local solutions that strengthen communities and bridge the distance between food and those who need it. 🚌Recently, we got to see our grants in action when Soledad Roybal, Shipt’s Senior Manager of Government Affairs, visited Activate Food Arizona, a mobile market ensuring that residents across Phoenix have access to fresh produce, regardless of where they live. “It was such a powerful opportunity to see firsthand where Shipt’s community support goes and the difference it’s making for their operations. The intense Phoenix heat can be a massive challenge, and the new walk-in fridge that was funded through Shipt’s Community Impact grant is going to change their ability to store and distribute fresh food. That’s just incredible.” Do you know of a mobile market, teaching farm, or food hub that is transforming your community? Applications are now open for our Community Impact grant through June 12th. At Shipt, we believe that every order is an opportunity to make someone’s day. Last month in NYC, we hosted Special Delivery—an immersive experience dedicated to the daily routines and small moments that define our lives. From the moment Sterling K. Brown stepped into the space to the final bag charm being customized, the atmosphere was a beautiful reminder of our role in our member’s lives: delivering more than just groceries, but time and care. Seeing the space come alive with the energy and stories was the highlight of our week. It made it clear that the "why" behind Shipt is stronger than ever. We don't just shop for you; we shop like you, so you can focus on the moments that matter most. ❤️🛒
