LG just announced a dedicated fork of Flutter for webOS. You can now build apps for LG smart TVs using Flutter. This is a huge step for the ecosystem. But if you have ever built an app for a smart TV, you know that the app store review process is often slower and more painful than mobile. That is exactly why over-the-air updates are critical as Flutter expands to new platforms.
