Times Square is the last place on earth that needs better logistics. Everything arrives. Constantly. On time. We're built for the other places. The ones much tougher to reach. The far flung Navy vessel needing resupply. The island medic awaiting blood. The work crew on a washed out bridge hundreds of miles inland. The place with no runway and no time to spare. Our partners at Ramp put us on a screen in the most connected place in the world, for an aircraft made for everywhere else. We'll take it. Let's GO. #Logistics #SupplyChain #AirCargo

Skyways V3 is in the Bay Area! ✈️ It was my first time seeing an unmanned cargo eVTOL in person, and I was truly impressed. Skyways is pioneering the future of autonomous cargo aviation with an outstanding team and remarkable technology. Exciting to see how quickly this industry is advancing, and I look forward to what’s next! Their next-generation autonomous VTOL is designed for long-range cargo operations with: ✈️ 1,000+ miles of maximum range 📦 100+ lbs of useful payload ⏱️ Nearly 20 hours of maximum endurance https://www.skyways.com/ Skyways All Nippon Airways Charles Acknin #DIU #eVTOL #DIU #Cargo #logstics #Skyways #AutonomousFlight #CargoAviation #AdvancedAirMobility #FutureOfFlight #DeepTech #Innovation

Japan's remote islands wait too long for everyday essentials. Skyways and All Nippon Airways are changing that. Long-range autonomous aircraft. Hybrid-VTOL. Repeatable missions, island to island. No ship wait, at dramatically less cost than airplanes or helicopters. Operational today. 90 kilometers of open Pacific is no longer an issue. It's a route. Nasty weather today in Austin, Texas, but the pros running our flight testing and the V3b1 bird were up for the challenge. Besides, our domestic and international observers would not be denied a chance to see this baby fly. As impressive as this bird is, its successor the V3b2, is coming out soon……stay tuned.

We’re excited to reveal what we’ve been up to this summer!
While most people are enjoying their summer holidays, the teams from DSV - Global Transport and Logistics, Nordic Unmanned and Skyways are hard at work in Germany preparing for the next chapter of offshore drone logistics. Yesterday, I received this photo showing our newest drone taking to the skies for the very first time. It is always a special moment to see months of planning, engineering, and collaboration come alive. We are currently implementing our new drone into our North Sea operations, taking another important step in expanding offshore drone logistics capabilities. We are also looking forward to WindEnergy Hamburg 2026, where we will be showcasing more of what we have been working on. Visitors will have the opportunity to get up close to some of our drones and speak with our team about how drone logistics can become another valuable tool in the offshore supply chain toolbox. #DSV #Skyways #DroneLogistics #OffshoreLogistics #WindEnergy2026 #Innovation #Drones #OffshoreWind #NorthSea #SupplyChain

The United States Department of War sent the autonomous logistics industry its biggest demand signal yet. Buried in the FY27 budget's $53.6 billion Drone Dominance initiative: $13.5 billion for Contested Logistics, to stand up a real, commercially integrated autonomous network, not to study one. The message is clear: the demand is real, and the pressure is on. Skyways has been building toward this since 2017, and we're already proving it where it matters. Eight years ago we started proving that autonomous logistics for the U.S. Military, at scale, would work. BVLOS with the Marines in 2018. Then winning the Navy's business through ANTX in 2019. Trust and credibility earned contract by contract. 100% completion rate on all DoW milestones since then. Back in April, the DoW put a number on it: $13.5 billion for Contested Logistics in the FY27 budget. Not to study an autonomous network. To "establish a commercially integrated logistics network capable of sustaining autonomous operations under contested conditions." Skyways has been building toward this moment since Day 1, so, I wrote about what this inflection point means now. A new category of aviation is flying today: long-range VTOL. Vertical takeoff means no runway. Long-range cruise means cargo delivered hundreds of miles from where it took off. Together, they reach places that used to be off the map. Let's GO. #Skyways #AutonomousAviation #VTOL #LongRange

"We quietly went about the work of building aircraft that would actually solve problems, and that would have an impact." That was probably my biggest takeaway from this article on Skyways. As a recruiter, it's easy to spend all day talking about what a company could become. What's been different here is that the team has spent years focused on building, flying, and delivering for customers instead of chasing attention. It's cool to see more of that story finally being shared. If you're an engineer who wants to work on autonomous aircraft that are already operating in the real world, we're growing across mechanical engineering, software, autonomy, flight test, manufacturing, and more. If that sounds interesting, let's talk. https://lnkd.in/eHnMvCrd

Rare role: build the controllership function at exactly the right moment. Skyways is scaling toward the world's largest autonomous cargo aircraft fleet, operational today and in fundraising mode. That means our first institutional audit, real reporting infrastructure, and a finance org built to hold weight. I'm hiring a Senior Controller to own the close (board-ready by Day 10), stand up the controls, migrate us off QuickBooks, and get us audit-ready without slowing the business down. You'll be in the GL Monday and in front of the CEO Tuesday. High ownership, direct team, signal over noise. If you want to build rather than maintain, this is the seat. Details + apply below. The stars are aligning! ⭐️⭐️⭐️🚀🚀🚀
We keep calling this "the next era of aviation." Just as with anything brand new, it's hard to picture exactly what that looks like For the last couple of years we've watched AI go from novelty to indispensable faster than anyone was ready for. It has reshaped the digital world almost overnight - and it's not done yet. It's clear that intelligent hardware - otherwise known as robots (flying, driving or walking ones) - is what's next on the agenda. I'm curious to see Advanced Air Mobility's transformative effect. Medical supplies reaching a rural clinic in minutes instead of hours. A replacement part flown straight to an offshore rig or a stranded ship, instead of waiting days for a boat. A small town suddenly an hour closer to everywhere. At Skyways, we've spent eight years building automated, uncrewed aircraft for some of the most demanding environments out there. The part that keeps me in it isn't the technology — it's what the technology lets you reach. Deputy FAA Administrator Chris Rocheleau called it America's next aviation era this week. He's right. And the best part: it won't feel like science fiction for long. It'll just feel like help arriving faster. https://lnkd.in/ggzUiWpW
