🧠 Today is World Brain Day 2026 — "Brain Health: Access for All." The World Federation of Neurology reminds us that over 3.4 billion people globally live with neurological conditions, yet access to effective treatment remains deeply unequal. Glioblastoma (GBM) — a malignant brain tumor with a median survival of approximately 15 months — sits at the sharpest edge of this inequity, with limited response to surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. This is exactly why what happened at WCP 2026 in Melbourne last week matters. SL Science Holding Limited (NASDAQ: SLBT), in collaboration with Taipei Medical University, JY BioMed, and HeXun Biosciences, presented preclinical findings on our gamma delta (γδ) T-cell platform — a next-generation immune cell therapy designed to address the limitations of conventional solid tumor treatment. Headline results: ✅ Complete tumor eradication achieved by Day 26 at the highest dose tested (8:1 effector-to-target ratio) ✅ Dose-dependent tumor suppression confirmed with repeated direct intracranial dosing ✅ No major safety concerns or adverse effects observed "We were thrilled to present these findings on a global stage. By working closely with leading academic institutions, we are translating complex biology into tangible hope for patients facing high unmet medical needs." — William Wang, Chairman & CEO, SL Science On World Brain Day, we are reminded that access to better science is itself a form of access to better health. We remain committed to delivering that science — for the patients who need it most. #WorldBrainDay2026 #BrainHealthAccessForAll #SLBT #Glioblastoma #GammaDeltaTCell #WCP2026 #CellTherapy #Immunotherapy #Oncology

We're proud to share that our CTO, Dr. Ethan Shen, attended WCP2026 Melbourne alongside JY BioMed's CMO, Dr. Bo-Xiang Zhang — as GDT platform preclinical findings took the world stage, with tumor signal dropping to undetectable levels in the highest-dose glioblastoma model. A meaningful milestone for the GDT platform's global journey. #SLScience #SLBT #Nasdaq #GDT #CellTherapy #BrainCancer #GBM #WCP2026 #Melbourne #Biotech
🧬 A step forward in brain cancer treatment: JY BioMed's γδ T cell therapy featured at the World Congress of Pharmacy JY BioMed, a Taiwan-based diversified biotech platform company, announced preclinical results from its Gamma Delta T (γδ T) cell therapy research, conducted with academic partner Taipei Medical University, presented as an academic poster at the 20th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology 2026 (WCP2026) in Melbourne, Australia. In an orthotopic glioblastoma (GBM) animal model, intracranial injection of γδ T cells reduced tumor imaging signal to undetectable levels in the highest-dose group, with a clear dose-dependent anti-tumor response. The study also confirmed the feasibility of repeated intracranial dosing, and treated animals showed extended survival. No major safety concerns were observed in hematology or serum biochemistry analyses, supporting a favorable preclinical safety profile. Behind this result is a full value chain: 🔹JY BioMed: the technology source, owning and licensing the γδ T platform 🔹SL Science Holding Ltd. (Nasdaq: SLBT): advancing global clinical development 🔹HeXun Biosciences Co., Ltd. (6986): handling manufacturing under a CDMO model JY BioMed founder and Chairman Dr. Ethan Shen said: "JY BioMed's role is as the technology source. We've taken Taiwan's original cell therapy technology forward through our long-term collaboration with Taipei Medical University, connecting the full value chain from R&D to global clinical development to manufacturing. Seeing complete disappearance of tumor signal in the highest-dose group in this preclinical model is strong validation of the γδ T platform's strength. As each link in this chain falls into place, the value of Taiwan's original technology will be recognized on the world stage." Beyond γδ T, the group's HCAb-ADC, UC-MSC, and Exosome platforms are advancing under the same model, with Taipei Medical University collaboration laying the groundwork for future international licensing. #CellTherapy #CancerResearch #BiotechInnovation #GBM #TaiwanBiotech #JYBioMed

SL Science advances on two fronts in GDT brain cancer development. SL Science Holding Limited (Nasdaq: SLBT) has submitted an Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) request to the U.S. FDA for Vdelta2+ Gamma Delta T Cells for the treatment of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). The FDA's Office of Orphan Products Development (OOPD) has formally acknowledged receipt of the request. Designation Details: 🔸Product: Vdelta2+ Gamma Delta T Cells 🔸Disease / Condition: Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) 🔸Designation Request Number: DRU-2026-11528 🔸Date of Receipt: March 30, 2026 Simultaneously, JY BioMed — licensor of SL Science's GDT cell therapy technology — will present at the 20th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (WCP2026) in Melbourne, Australia (July 12–17, 2026), with the presentation titled: "Intracranial γδ T Cell Therapy Eliminates Glioblastoma in Preclinical Models." Glioblastoma multiforme is among the most aggressive primary brain cancers, with a median survival of around 15 months and severely limited treatment options. ODD formally recognizes this unmet medical need and may provide regulatory support to accelerate the path to patients. SL Science's GDT platform offers a distinct immunological mechanism — MHC-independent tumor recognition that directly targets cancer cells, overcoming tumor heterogeneity and immune evasion in solid tumors. Two regulatory and scientific milestones. One platform. One mission. 📄 Read the full press release: https://lnkd.in/gTmqxkd5 #SLScience #SLBT #Nasdaq #GDT #CellTherapy #OrphanDrug #BrainCancer #Glioblastoma #GBM #WCP2026 #Melbourne #FDA #Immunooncology #Biotech

The scientific foundation behind SL Science's GDT platform continues to gain international validation. SL Science Holding Limited (Nasdaq: SLBT) licenses its proprietary Gamma Delta T (GDT) cell therapy technology from JY BioMed Co., Ltd., the IP holder of the GDT platform. Earlier this year, JY BioMed — in collaboration with Taipei Medical University — published a key preclinical study in the peer-reviewed journal Immunobiology: 📄 Title: Unmodified γδ T cells exhibit potent antitumor activity in hepatocellular carcinoma and are enhanced by PD-L1 blockade Key findings: 🔹Unmodified γδ T cells demonstrated strong, dose-dependent cytotoxic activity against hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in both in vitro and in vivo models 🔹Combining GDT cells with PD-L1 checkpoint blockade significantly enhanced antitumor efficacy, supporting future combination therapy strategies 🔹No significant systemic toxicity was observed in animal models, with potential for off-the-shelf allogeneic cell therapy development The MHC-independent tumor recognition capability of γδ T cells — enabling direct cancer cell targeting without the limitations of tumor heterogeneity — is the same scientific principle underlying SL Science's focus on pancreatic and brain cancers, two of the most challenging solid tumor indications in oncology. One platform. Multiple fronts. A growing body of peer-reviewed evidence.
