Our partnership with Seraphim Space continues to build momentum. At Farnborough, we announced the second cohort of our Investment Readiness Program together. The program pairs Florida SpaceTech companies with structured mentoring, commercial guidance, and fundraising support over several weeks, then connects them directly with international investors, strategic partners, and industry leaders. For Florida companies, this is a direct pipeline from early-stage growth to global capital, and another sign of how the our UK partnership continues to open doors for the state's aerospace innovators. Today was an amazing kickoff of Florida’s presence at the Farnborough International Air Show, truly highlighting the accelerating pace of aerospace activity across the state. The Governor’s announcement that Relativity Space plans a significant expansion of manufacturing activities in Florida is yet another example of the Florida Model at work: world leading companies recognizing the value of being a part of an ecosystem like no other. I was also privileged to sign the first international partnership agreement with the UK Space Agency after the establishment of the state’s International Aerospace Innovation Fund. Committing to real funding with strategic partners is another tangible example like minded partners coming together to move the needle. So thankful for Rebecca Evernden CBE‘s partnership and leadership in this effort. We also celebrated the second cohort of startups within our investor readiness program. So fortunate to collaborate with Seraphim Space and Alexander Holt on expanding the ecosystem across the state. Florida has the vision, the leadership that yields record breaking success. And it happens because we have incredible partners and leaders across the state: Chair Nuñez, J. Alex Kelly, Cord Byrd, Jared W. Perdue, P.E. and many others. Announced at the 19th Australian Space Forum in Adelaide, the partnership focuses on joint spaceport development, space trade between our two regions, research network connections, and next-gen space workforce development. Space Florida and the UK Space Agency have signed the first partnership under the new Florida International Aerospace Innovation Fund. Signed at the 2026 Farnborough International Air Show, the MOU commits $400,000 to joint projects in space transportation, satellite systems, in-space research, and more. A formal call for projects opens this Fall. "This agreement is a direct expression of what the Florida Model is built on — the belief that the state of Florida is not just a launch location, but a launch point for the world's aerospace ambitions.
