SRM Concrete announced the opening of a new ready-mix concrete plant in Sarasota, Florida. The location extends SRM’s reach, allowing the company to reach more customers in the greater Tampa area. "The addition of our Sarasota plant demonstrates our continued effort in establishing new sites to reach more customers and provide better service,” said Jeff Hollingshead, Chief Executive Officer of SRM Concrete. SRM Concrete will become the first all-sports jersey patch partner in Vanderbilt Athletics history beginning with the 2026–27 athletic year, building on the bold partnership between cornerstones of the Nashville community. Expanding the partnership creates new opportunities for SRM Concrete, the nation’s No. 1 ready-mix concrete producer, to engage directly with Commodore student-athletes through name, image and likeness initiatives and support excellence across the university’s 17 varsity teams. “As we prepare for a new year of unforgettable moments and inspiring performances, I’m gratified that SRM Concrete will be with us everywhere Commodores compete through these jersey patches,” Vanderbilt Vice Chancellor for Athletics and University Affairs and Athletic Director Candice Storey Lee said. “Our student-athletes embody a university committed to setting a new standard for national excellence without sacrificing values forged in the Nashville community we call home. As a company with similar roots and ambitions, SRM Concrete shares our vision for what is possible for Vanderbilt Athletics.” SRM Concrete has been an official partner of Vanderbilt Athletics since 2025, when the family-owned-and-operated company secured naming rights to the SRM South End Zone Suites at FirstBank Stadium. Halfway through our annual Family Days and looking back on a great weekend with our team members and their families from New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Grateful for another fun-filled day spent with the people who make SRM what it is.

SRM Concrete has acquired Troy Ready Mix, Inc. in Troy, North Carolina, including one ready-mix plant and one precast plant. “The acquisition of Troy Ready Mix is another meaningful step in our continued investment across North Carolina,” said SRM Concrete CEO Jeff Hollingshead. “SRM is committed to building strong operations that deliver consistent quality and outstanding service wherever our customers need us, and we’re looking forward to doing that here in Troy with our new team members.” This acquisition marks SRM’s 20th location in the state of North Carolina, while marking the first location in Central North Carolina. SRM Concrete announced the opening of a new ready-mix concrete plant at its Richmond, Virginia location, replacing the previous batch plant that had served the region for more than 50 years. The investment reflects SRM's continued commitment to modernizing its operations while enhancing service for customers throughout the Richmond area. "We are excited to open this new plant in Richmond as we continue investing in our long-standing presence in the market," said Jeff Hollingshead, Chief Executive Officer of SRM Concrete. "Replacing a plant that has served the community for more than five decades demonstrates our continued commitment to providing quality concrete and unmatched service to our customers throughout Central Virginia."
