Star team member Laura Guido, PharmD, MBA, BCPS visited Wisconsin this weekend for the Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation conference. It was a meaningful opportunity to spend time with members of the bleeding disorders community and hear firsthand about the experiences that shape and inspire our work in VWD.

About us
Star Therapeutics is a clinical stage biotechnology company discovering and developing best-in-class antibodies to create life-changing therapies for patients, initially addressing unmet needs in hematology and immunology. The company applies its expertise in antibody innovation to interrogate areas of biology that have been overlooked and have the potential for addressing multiple diseases with a single therapy. Our lead program, VGA039, has the potential to be a universal hemostatic therapy that can treat numerous bleeding disorders, starting with von Willebrand disease (VWD). As a subcutaneously self-administered antibody therapy with convenient dosing, VGA039 has the potential to significantly reduce the treatment burden for patients.

Patients' voices are critical to this work. Thanks to all those contributing to advancements for the VWD community. #ClinicalTrialsDay

Von Willebrand Disease often hides in plain sight - passed quietly through generations, undiagnosed and misuderstood. On World DNA Day, a reminder: genetics isn't abstract, its the key to finding patients who've been missed for decades. Earlier diagnosis, better outcomes. It starts with understanding the code. #WorldDNADay
